From what Nanjin was saying there will be a lot to be seen.

I do know they have twice the space then they did last year, so maybe a big set up like Chicago 2 years ago.

Has anyone considered a 1/6 trek meetup? I've mostly done small trek events, and i'm thinking vegas will be a bit of a sensory overload for me

This seeeeeems to illustrate why Strange New Worlds is... Like not really Star Trek to me. I watch it and pretend it's like it's own thing... Because it's still decent and a positive sci-fi which is stand-out from the dystopian depressing Trump-like horror worlds (whoops got political).
But their hairstyles... What? How?! That's a bit silly....

Old Trek had some silly but given the year it wasn't as striking...

Thought it was a fun clip... but yeah I agree the show likes to embrace the camp a little too much at times. And when they announced the standalone episode thing, I was hoping we'd get more than these gimmicky switcheroo stories or the kind of stuff you'd see on Buffy back in the day.

Feel like it's only a matter of time before we get a puppet episode. Lol

I watched Season 1 but gave up at the start of Season 2. I had hoped for a modern take on The Cage moving forward etc but no, certainly not for me. I will stick TOS.

It certainly has, now THIS is what they’re capable of when they put their best people on a job.

You did a great job capturing the sculpts realism in this shot QGF!

Looks great, but the quality can easily drop with the next figure.

I am looking forward to seeing what they have at this Vegas show. They better have Beyond figures finally. I want a Pine Kirk and Quinto Spock.

Yeah I only wish every Exo sculpt was at this level.

If one of the most central characters in Trek (TNG Picard) doesn’t turn out like this then it’s going to be an albatross around EXO’s neck IMO.

I guess we’ll see if this quality continues.

The other SNW characters that they showed off last year were disappointing, but hopefully they have improved the likeness. Those were probably first drafts but Una in particular looked terrible. Chapel was about 50 percent there, and La'an was maybe 70 based on my memory. I hope to see M'Benga at LV. He has a lot of striking features that could make for an excellent likeness if they can pull it off.

This is what sculpts/figures can look like when they're not inexplicably given squinty, too small, and cross eyed eyes. This looks great.
