Will arrived.
The FedEx route took him to France first, Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris to be precise. A lot of disruption there at moment due to some silly international tiddlywinks championship or something. There were FedEx delay reports, and he was out and back into the local depot there a few times before finally escaping France and actually arriving on the originally scheduled day (though, like Amazon, I think they're often pessimistic with their estimates so parcels either arrive early or on time).
Anyway, while Will Byers wasn't the most exciting figure to be waiting on he is one more of the gang.
The worst non-figure related thing with Threezero is their choice of retro Sideshow window boxes that can only be opened at the ends. It's so easy to rip or bend the flaps I always slide a ruler under them and ease them open.
Everything is securely clamshell packed though.
I like that they do these labelled content sheets:
Will's Mind Flayer drawing is inside the bag on the other side:
The Mossberg 144LS .22LR:
It's a solid construction, with no moving parts aside from the tiny magazine with the visible round at the top:
Out of the box the magazine isn't fully inserted, so looked a bit strange as it was longer than it ought to be. You can push it up into place.
The rifle appeared in the first few minutes of the first episode of the first season, and is seen again in episode eight of season two when it's handed to Nancy by Hopper when defending the house against the Demo-dogs.
The walkie-talkie is the same as before:
I like Will's sculpt a lot better than Mike's:
Overall he's pretty good, and though not very exciting on his own, it's fun seeing the gang gradually assemble...
