I disagree. I don't see where this idea that GameToys is slow has come from. It's been 14 months since Tifa went up for preorder.

There's also the fact that Tifa's Po have been delayed to oblivion so for most people it's way more than 14 Months.
Also, the fact that the releases don't overlap but comes almost one after another, unlike compagnies that release 3 or 4 figures a year.
And to add salt on the wound, they teased a lot of project that we likely won't ever see.
It's fair to say that they are kinda slow.

If this comes out within this year I will eat my sock and I’ll post the video in here. Quote me
park. XL size sock?

well, since tifa estimate release date is 3rd-4rd q.I think the actual release is dec-feb. tifa head haven't finalize etc etc. just make sure its up to quality when release. while deciding on the head,gt also seems like finding new/different method to produce the silicone body.

why not release noctis first?delay the tifa. my humble opinion.

I'm just curious, what happens if you put a "non-refundable deposit" and the thing you're trying to buy never gets released at all or gets stuck in limbo? Many online stores require you to put down a certain amount of deposit so I normally don't pre-order 1/6 scale stuff especially since they are prone to extremely long delays (or sometimes they never materialize at all).

Depend where you pre order from I would say, I had stuff pre order from onesixthkit and the company the up cancel the figure and kit just refund whatever NRD I paid.

Shady shops will make excuses then ghost you. Trustworthy shops will refund.

I have only had one instance of this occurring at Onesixthkit when I pre-ordered Nova Studios GTO figure. Once word came that the figure was cancelled, Kit refunded my NRD.

Good news! Another midnight update from GT, boss said probably will release within this year

Disappointed that it's another blurry photo.
We can't see any of the possible improvements, I tried to remove the blurry with several free AIs and I hope Tifa won't look like this, because all the results were ugly.

Imo, the clock doesn't start ticking until the figure is up for sale. It doesn't matter how long they teased a figure for. And GT have released 3.5 figures this year (AC Cloud in Jan, and the Death Note Kira and L and the extra Cloud body in May). They didn't release anything in 2023, this is true, but that's easily attributable to the Fenrir bike.

Nearly every company these days is averaging around 15 months from announcement to release (for comparison's sake, that's exactly how long it took MT Toys to get out their RE4 Leon which just released last week). The ToysEra Aerith went up for preorder about two months before GT Tifa but I'd still bet on GT Tifa dropping first, even considering the delay caused by all the whinging about her face.

I'm not surprised they're toying with the idea of making Rufus before rounding out the main cast. He and the Turks have ya basic anime boy physique, GT could recycle a lot of their existing work to produce them vs having to make all new molds from scratch for Barrett, Red XIII, Cait Sith etc.

GT Boss clearly has a thing for basic pretty anime boys, let's be real lol.

What a tease, but it looks on point! I’m glad GT Boss has revised the sculpt.

Having her right ear hidden is already much better.

I liked the prototype a lot and couldn't see the issues other people had with it, but I've gotta admit this is closer to the game.
