I don't expect this until 2025
Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant that I didn’t expect to have it in my hands in 2024 …which is OK bk I think it is going to be a great figure. You mean like in your own hands? It’s definitely gonna be released this year.
I'm not at all excited about this release unfortunately. Certainly not in any way that's comparable to Aragorn for example. Even though it warrants a place in my collection.
I guess it's a "been there, done that" kinda deal. I know exactly what to expect when I get the figure in hand. It's prettystraightforwardd, and rather plain looking. Take it out the box, and place it on a stand.
Maybe if they pushed it closer to those graphics that potato cooked, it'd be a heck of a lot more interesting.
Oh you know how it is here, people jerk off over one thing and then hate it the next. What am I missing here? I thought the prototype was one of the most life like figures ever seen.
I'd use it for a couple pictures I guess, but definitely keeping the other for the main display. Is that the angry laser eye sculpt expression? It looks the coolest one to display to me compared to the neutral one.

This covers it quite clearly. What am I missing here? I thought the prototype was one of the most life like figures ever seen.
Don’t forget “Justin inspired rooted curl”, give it some time, curls need to be rooted.
While current suit color isn’t movie accurate for the collectible I still prefer it being brighter blue, as we probably won’t get another Cavill figure for ages, it gonna be a nice unified representation of him. However I agree on everything else, his body definitely needs to be chonkier, especially thighs. This covers it quite clearly.

Is asserting that ‘the blue is correct’ going to lead to a conversation about which is more important and accurate- replicating the real world colours of the prop or how it was presented in the movie after applying filters, colour correction, and Snyderization?the blue is correct.
I'd upload a photo, but Im guessing all images on the net are now webp. and this forum is ancient.
Yes suit is definitely bluer in the movie than some ppl think. Snyder signature filter made it look darker.the blue is correct.

Personally I prefer actual suit colors over screen accurate/Snyderized. While I absolutely love the film I think Hot Toys figure looks too dark and doesn’t look as impressive on display. Is asserting that ‘the blue is correct’ going to lead to a conversation about which is more important and accurate- replicating the real world colours of the prop or how it was presented in the movie after applying filters, colour correction, and Snyderization?
