this is getting ridiculous folks. And predicting every possible scenario except maybe thermonuclear war, does not help either. Nor does it allow you to say 'called it'. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Anyway, we are working together with the most experienced factories for production of the headsculpts, bodies, suits, etc. Kit Chen from OneSixthKit will also oversee production when we are not there. And he has guaranteed only the best hands in the business will be involved in the supply chain. Many of whom are ex-hot toys and InArt. Therefore I cannot do more. You can expect the same difference between a handmade and handprinted prototype to final production piece from us than you can expect from InArt or Hot Toys. With a few important differences:
1) you will not be surprised by us, because I will keep communicating every step of the way, with pictures and video of progress along the way, so no avocado textures out of nowhere
2) I think using SERS system eyeballs WILL create an improvement in the look of the eyeballs compared to hand painting them
3) even though we may not have experience with portrait painting and eyeball systems yet, our supply chain partners all have, so it's not like starting from scratch and relearning or making the same 'mistakes' the Hot Toys had to go through when they introduced it and still had to invent the wheel. All respect to them. I think it is awesome and really gaining maturity
Also, it's ridiculous that anyone would want the EXACT suit material as used on set as Michelle had to be vacuum sucked into it and the suit would be torn after one or two scenes. So sure we can do that if you also accept that it will tear like pretty much immediately. You cannot have your cake and eat it too.
As for the seamless body, yes it might not articulate like a standard hot toys body but with the skin tight suit that needs to be strong enough to last more than a few takes, articulation is limited anyway. No such thing as a free lunch. So then, let's use something that will actually look like Michelle Pfeiffer's physique and not have all those weird looking joints and dips in areas like the hips and arms and shoulders that you have on Spiderman figures
oh, and ps: we have already had great succes with our Iron Scavenger figure, which came out better than the prototype and had NO QC issues, even though it was passed on by Hot Toys for being too difficult and not viable
