That double elbow joint is really working out for them :lol
Hell yeah, single bend arm bodies are **** and need to disappear! I'll spend $600 on this as it is now before I spend any money on the piece of crap hot toys one.

This brings about the question of do you go for articulation over accuracy. Personally, if something is anatomically bad, that's a big no from me, because we all want these to be as realistic as possible, right? I don't do extreme poses though, so articulation isn't a high priority.

I prefer both. The 1.0 from hot toys had double bend arms, why does the 2.0 have single bend arms like bo Katan? Single bend arms are ok if it's a character with short sleeves (but why not use seamless instead in that case?) but it just pisses me off. I love posing and photographing these figures, that's why I love this hobby. Single bend arms are not realistic so it limits poses.

Just noticed the crotch grabber. Assume that's because of her heels and not them giving up on magnetic bases. Hopefully they use a clear acrylic pole for the finalised stand.

Ideally both but I’d prefer accuracy over articulation.

I want to pose dynamically sometimes instead of boring museum style but the issue is the crap materials that are used can deteriorate over time when bent.

looks like a barbie doll
It’s a bit uncanny valley or A.I. looking but the final product should be OK.

I’ll keep the Hot Toys 1.0 (with mask on), then InArt (with mask off).

Also, I’m still waiting on the 1:6 Queen Catwoman on BatPod from SpecFic - paid off, it was supposed to ship in March.

Magnetic bases are an important innovation but seems like the tech is not ready yet.

my Inart Ledger finally tipped over after 6+ months.

Hopefully the magnetic bases gets perfected someday, it breaks the realism immersion when you see a flight pole or a crotch grabber rammed up a figure’s a$$. :lol

I don’t have much interest in getting a fig from InArt at this point. I do appreciate their efforts has forced HT to step up their own game (cough, Artisan Edition line, cough) I had originally thought about getting the HT TDKR Catwoman 2.0 with my points, but I ended up getting the much more interesting (and flexible) Ladypool instead.

P.S. Ladypool has Artisan-esque wool hair, not the cheap stuff Catwoman 2.0 has! Ha!

Given that Legolas doesn’t have a magnetic base, it seems as though they may be tossing in the towel on magnetic bases

The whole issue would be easily resolved if they kept the magnets but included a slot on the base where you could insert a crotch grabber, waist grabber, or acrylic rod of your choice.

This Catwoman isn't the best I've seen, but it's also not the worst. My guess is that they didn't have as much to showcase compared to brands like Hot Toys, so they wanted to give the impression of having more going on.

Even though they likely knew it wasn't perfect, there's truth to the idea that "there's no such thing as bad press." It gets people talking about their brand, sparks some interest and generate some talk and excitement, even if the product is still a work in progress. IMO releasing something early can be a great way to gather feedback and improve too.
I agree. I think Inart is smart enough to throw this prototype figure on the shell so they can get feedback from customers and adjust in time. Unlike Hot Toys catwoman 2.0... Too much bad things going on with that Hot Toys figure and I am glad I cancelled my pre-order.

Looks light years better than hot toys, solely for the reason that there is double bend arms and a removable mask 🤣
I wouldn't say light years but her body proportion does look just like the actress. Unlike Hot Toys chun-Li thights. Also I hope Inart does something about the neck connection as the Hot Toys 2.0 looks bad from a side angle to me. Also I think Inart face sculp looks already better than the Hot Toys 2.0 version. They need to do something about the skin texture and her face shape I think.
