Yeah I personally think Clark is the closer of the two with a well tailored suit and accessories to look at.

Likely would’ve benefited from an expression,
stone faced Superman doesn’t represent Reeve well, give em a smile.

The expression on Clark matches that photo so well, exceptional work for production.

Are people really going to cancel this because they don't think Clark looks good? I'm baffled.
Clark is and always was fantastic. Superman however is far from this. I thought about re-buying Superman until I saw the unboxing video. I am glad I didn't.

JND's Superman and Clark are definitely on display at Shanghai Wonder Festival. My buddy just sent me a photo of them - presumably taken while the displays were being set up. Looking forward to seeing some regular people's photos of them (which will either make them look better....or worse. LOL).

Eh, convention phots of all scales are usually pretty bad unless professionally photographed so I'm not worried. I trust the unboxing video and production pics that came out last week.

If they can look good in convention photos, you know they'll look incredible in real life. I always take these with a grain of salt, especially close ups with people using phone cameras distorting everything.

Even with that said, I think these both look fantastic from those photos.

Agreed. I think that person's Clark photo looks better than JND's official photo.

It's a shame the same can't be said for the photo of Indy that I saw. It looks shockingly bad but hopefully is still the prototype version that's been doing the rounds since the order went up as there's no change to any of it and it looks, well...just bad!

This looks a ton better than the previous version displayed last year. People who canceled this thinking it was a step back will regret it IMO.

The last picture is the prototype which looks more like Reeve.

No I won't. It looks mediocre on the sculpt department. Everything else is top notch but I won't pay money for something which looks like a stunt double.

You thought the other version looked better? The other version had good elements but the skin tone, hair, chin were off. That's the stunt double. It is definitely not the accurate representation of CR from Superman The Movie (This statue was not intended to look like any of the other looks from the sequels) We all have our own take on things. Good thing you just LOST out on your deposit since you were not happy the final result.

It’s definitely sad that you feel so strongly about it, but I completely agree in the sense of not wanting to spend your hard earned money (especially something as expensive as these JND pieces) on an item you’re not 100% sure about.

Definitely don’t feel pressured by anyone here telling you otherwise. I know I’ve fallen into the trap of buying something b/c ppl on here said I would regret it if I didn’t. Well, I should’ve listens to my gut b/c in pretty much every one of those cases, I ended up regretting the purchase and selling the figure in the end.

That said, that new pic above looks so good that I’m so happy that I ordered it. Considering how much you seemed to have wanted to like this, it makes me a little sad that you don’t see it the way some of us do.

Thanks Gipetto! I appreciate it.

Paid off the $3,320 balance today.

Wonder what number my statue is - they were supposed to ship out “sequentially” starting last week.
