Details from Kaustic Plastik
1) Silicone bodies.
No we will not use Tbleague bodies (they are not even silicone but soft rubber, there is a big difference between medical grade silicone and soft rubber) We will make brand new bodies for Conan and The Crow too (the Crow version will be with a naked thorax). The body quality will be similar to the latest hot toys wolverine.
2) The sculpts of Labyrinth and The Crow will be made by Beastmaster (Edward Peretti). Conan sculpt by Inigo Gil. We think both of them are the best we have in Europe.
3) The 'standard' stand will be magnetic but improved and not with a sticker but with sculpted ground. This is our luxury line. So the stand will be luxury as well.
4) For the moment (but this can change) only Jareth is planned for Labyrinth.
The paint application for the Maestro line will be similar to that of InArts.
Our problem was not with the skill, but the lower number we previously produced on our other lines.
Some collectors maybe do not appreciate just how many pieces are produced by HT and InArt, we are talking about huge companies with massive profits and with thousands of pieces produced, so they can then have much bigger budgets to spend on better skilled workers to apply the better paint applications.
Conan, The Crow and Labyrinth are licenses like no other we have had before, so with bigger production quantities we can finally now provide the great paint applications they deserve.
The limit in this business is only the budget, and that budget is decided from the quantities produced.
If you only make 700 pcs it's then hard to compete with companies that makes run of 10k pieces (or more)
