Personally, I am not a huge fan of westerns. Especially older westerns. But they were my Grandpa's favorites. And John Wayne being his favorite actor. In a lot of ways Wayne reminds me of my Grandpa as well. So this figure is mostly in honor of him. And really, what movie figure timeline would be complete without the Duke? Especially in a role that nabbed him the Oscar? This was a no-brainer for the collection. And its something fresh and different!

yeah this looks pretty good. I've thought about getting this for my stepfather but its kind of expensive. I think he would be more interested in a younger john wayne version.

Really was sold on this piece from Rzeznikk’s pics and video. For those looking I was able to order the web exclusive from KP themselves on their website.

Kaustic might be the fastest company to ever process an order. I literally ordered yesterday evening and this morning I got a shipping notice with tracking number and it’s already in the hands of UPS. I’ve had orders take 2 weeks to process from companies here in the US. Excited to see when he actually arrives.

Ordered Sunday - received Wednesday. From Italy to North Carolina….I’m impressed. Also blown away by the figure. I’m not sure why this piece is getting the hate it does. The figure and tailoring is outstanding. The head sculpt is pure JW all the way and the paint apps are excellent. The outfits and accessories are all expertly crafted. I did adjust my spurs because mine for some reason were so far up on the figures boot/ankle where they should be around the heel of the boot. But that’s the only thing I can ding this set on. Love everything he came with.
Also like the fact as an exclusive or limited edition set this feels like an exclusive. Be it the art print, or shirt, or the extra diorama magnetic base. When so many figure exclusive now come with an extra hand or clear tiny holographic bobble which will never leave the box or tray. It’s nice to see and feel like the exclusive is actually something substantial. Did a quick review I’ll post on my channel, in the meantime here are some pictures of my set.
