I think I finally understand what you were saying here, I was a bit confused at first.
You bought both the battle damaged bust and the closed mouth bust, swapped the BD portrait onto the closed mouth torso and sold all that, keeping only the BD torso and the closed mouth portrait so that all the heads would better fit onto the BD bust...
Is that correct? If so, bravo.
Actually I sold the closed-mouth portrait as well. I found I liked the other unmasked portraits more, on both the bust and statue. Made selling the bust easier as well, that BD head isn't exactly popular.

I DO remember thinking that @Collectorcol had come up with a really cool combo though.
It's a shame CRIME1 feel the need to be so devious in what they sell, how they sell it, and have such a pathetic idea about customer service - because their sculptors are AMAZING!

Quick question for you guys as it's been years since I pre-ordered this from Secret Compass. Does anybody who ordered the Deluxe from them remember if shipping was supposed to be included? I was pretty sure it was as that was a big factor in my ordering from them instead of directly from Prime 1 from what I'm remembering. I just got an email that it arrived, but they're quoting an additional $790 for ecomomy shipping or $1,697 for expedited shipping.

Yeah, I had to send Shane a screencap of my PayPal receipt from when I placed the NRD in July 2021. The item description at the time had "free shipping" in it.

I'm sure I saw someone else on one of the forums having the same concern/question - and Shane ultimately sorted things out . . . I think the shipping quote on arrival turned out to be an automated (system-generated) quote that Shane then manually removed upon questioning.
I stayed quiet because I knew YOU were likely to help

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I paid via credit card, so I'm not sure if I have documentation of shipping being free, but I'll check and reach out to Secret Compass.
I ended up just paying the shipping cost. I know the original quote was free shipping, but that means SC was probably eating all profits with the shipping with the amount it costs now a days for 3 large boxes. I was just happy to finally have this order come through.
He is getting everything direct from P1 now as the previous distributor isn't working out and the shipping costs are passed onto us. Not happy about that. What is the point of waiting so long if we end up paying the same or even more than direct from P1?
Better treatment if you have a problem with your statue, I guess?
Henceforth I'm going through Spec for preorders. They still have decent deals and seem to get their stuff sooner.

Last question(hopefully) for anyone who ordered from Secret Compass. What was your remaining balance after the deposit? I made a deposit of $330 and thought the remaining balance was something like $2700. I ordered on July 17, 2021 if that helps.

The remaining balance was just under $3K. The total price through SC at the time of the promotion was around $3300 (MSRP being $3K). The "free shipping" meant you were locked for that built-in $300 shipping rate, versus the several hundreds more you would've paid elsewhere.

Finally received this enormous guy. Leaning forward a little too much in the pose, and unnecessarily heavy, but otherwise an incredible statue, and very happy to have in my collection.
