Looks great, would be wonderful looking on display, but these really should be $35 figures. $50 on the high end (I think Super 7 commits highway robbery pricing things that way).

In that case it can be attributed to the prototype (likely hand painted). But of course, you can't rule that out of happening with the production figure here.

Damn that is expensive. Was hoping 75 for these. May have to pick just 1 deluxe for a ghost and go standard on the rest.

Shipping not included - I think it’s $30+ more it you buy direct from Mondo for the Timed Edition.

Standard Venkman is £100 from C&C in the UK. From Mondo it would be around £130 after shipping and imports and the Timed would be £238.

Is Samhain worth £138?

Everything else aside, Mondo is giving the fans something no one else has, and no one else is likely to. If you love the show and want this figure represented in this scale and style, then this is your chance, and you're gonna have to pay through the nose. When you put aside the license and character it's really not worth it, though little of what Mondo sells is. However, this is a case where some will put that kind of decision-making aside.

Chronicle Collectibles was supposed to release a set of resin Real Ghostbusters statues ($150 each) - forget the scale but i think 10 inches.

I had these on PO (paid in full) direct at the Chronicle Collectibles store around 2019, then the company suddenly folded about a year later.

luckily, I was able to get 100% of my money back through my credit card but other collectors were out of luck if they had used debit card or if the payments were made too long ago.

I had more than $1,000 refunded because I had some other Chronicle Collectibles still on PO - mainly Jurassic Park props (Barbasol can) and 1/6 Dr. Grant and raptor.

I was going to buy the figures regardless but I must admit there was some sticker shock when I saw the $30 shipping fee because Mondo set the precedent of “free” shipping on most of the 1/6 figures.

In reality, nothing is really “free” shipping, probably baked into the price of the figure.

Having some time to calm down and rethink things is such a gift especially with good advices from the forum.

I like Samhain, hes pretty cool and iconic.. but do i love him enough to pay an exrtra $100 for it? I mean... if it was an extra 30-40 fair enough.

Boogeyman that is coming with Egon, thats a no brainer. I'd happily pay whatever price they want for that. But Samhain? Not to give them any ideas, but if they charged $150 for the base figure and $200 for the time release, maybe the choice would be different.

I saw Peter up for preorder on BBTS. He looks good but there's no way in hell I'm paying over $100 for a basic 1/12 scale figure with a few accessories.

I'd happily pay $40-$60 range.

It was quite the opposite. Big numbers came in on first day and they decided they could do free shipping. It's on youtube them talking about it

Maybe cancel and reorder or ask Mondo CS to retroactively apply the discount?
