Exactly, I wonder if brushing some shadow lines on the top of the head across the bangs could help hide it a bit. But that’s the problem, it’s too big of a risk to try and shave it down which would fix it my allowing the hair to go down more towards the nose.

Plz stop talking about his forehead, it's beginning to kick off my OCD which probably all collectors have to a degree, it's gonna be like that whole mole thing in that movie....:lol

Like he's standing right next to my computer while I wait for his RANGER CLOAK:cuss and I was all happy I was able to work his hair thing out and trying to ignore the too-short tunic and then all these forehead comments....😁

Anyway Viggo sometimes looks like he has a very high forehead like in ROTK.

Srsly the hair on mine was pretty stubborn it was hard to pull over the "ridge" of plastic widow's peak. I'd still say it's the best Aragorn sculpt out there, including compared to statues. Dunno if running a line of soft brown paint along the forehead would help; maybe the painters/customizers could comment. I don't have the *&^% to try it.
Exactly, Viggo doesn’t even look the same in ROTK with his hair combed back revealing his forehead compared to FOTR and TTT (or earlier scenes in Paths of the Dead). For this figure the rooted hair is a big variable in how his likeness appears. For FOTR he should not show that much forehead. That’s something sculpted hair owners don’t have to struggle with.

This is the InArt Aragorn paired with the Asmus Crown Gandalf. Since I splurged on Gandalf years before the InArt, I decided to forgo the InArt version, as I am not a millionaire. Don't tell me how much better the InArt version is. This Gandalf is perfectly acceptable, but will need a lot of tweaking

I've only just started working with the hair on mine a little bit. I thought by getting the hair wet, it would "soften" the gel, and allow me to work the hair a bit. Right now it's a bit more 'triangular' shaped, some of the photos people have shared show the hair hanging straight down.

Just dipping my fingertips in some water and trying to loosen/soften up the hair, to move it around a bit, I can see that's not the way to go about it. It's loosening the hair allright, but it's starting to create 'flyaways'. So, I think the InArt video is accurate when it says dip the brush in some hair gel. I think that way it should wet the hair a bit, and still allow you to position it. Just straight water on the hair is probably not the way to go about it.

The overhead lighting isn't doing the giant forehead any favors. I've been trying to grab just a single strand of hair to bring it in over his face, but it keeps getting stuck with multiple other clumps.

Aragorn is here and glorious! Unfortunately, though, I didn't escape QC entirely... Some paint rubbed off on the neck. A really tiny spot, admittedly, but it's right on the Adam's apple and just low enough to be seen from certain angles... Kit said he can file a claim, but it might take a few months for a replacement. Any idea on some home remedies I can try before resorting to that? It's such a small blemish that I'd like to DIY it if I can, rather than creating a bigger hassle.

(Incidentally, the paint on the scabbard is also chipped in one spot, so I'll be trying to get a replacement for that one piece at least.)

Try a mild dish soap (dawn) on a q-tip and rub lightly in circular motions. If that doesn’t work, I’d just attempt an exchange since you already need something else exchanged.

I wouldn’t use alcohol due to InArt’s use of thin, delicate paint apps. If you do decide to use alcohol, don’t rub it in, only dot it on the necessary spot.

Make sure the q-tip is saturated to where it doesn’t catch the plastic.

don't use alcohol. I had a same issue on the nose. Seems they don't seal the paint properly. Wait to Kit, if he won't be able to send a replacement try to repaint it with some acrylic paint, but practice on something else first to match the skin colour.

I had something similar with Star-Lord v2 years ago and wrapped a 1/6 clothing item (his red scarf) around the area and it seemed to absorb the paint after a few days. No way to say it would work here but just an idea

My gosh I just can't.

The release was solid, but the rooted hair is bad...you have to keep styling it otherwise, we will constantly have bald Aragorn.

I had other figs, and sometimes the rooted hair gets pulled out accidentally while futzing the clothes or head.

I am not sure why Aragorn constantly looks bald other than they put the hairline too far back

Speaking of QC issues: my sculpted version had a shiny, brown blemish on the nose. Looks as though it may have been bumped before the paint and/or clear coat had dried.

Thankfully, a replacement sculpt is already on the way.

oh my ''good one'' also has that but not as dark lol guess it's part of the freckles, mine isn't shiny. Other one had cracked paint on the nose so Kit sent replacement for that. If I go back and complain about the freckle he'll lost his mind haha

I got surprised today by the delivery driver, Aragorn is here holy ****! I got unlucky imo on the hair rooting I got the jokor hair variant dang.

Also damn I think I'm missing the sharpening stone  do any of you guys remember where yours was? Was it pre-installed on the belt or? Mine came with nothing on it and I cannot find it anywhere else.

Mine was under the Evenstar pendant in it's own little plastic bag.

I had the standard version but I believe most of the tray layout was similar according the manual.
