The new Scarecrow 2.0 will have an acrylic post, though it makes zero sense because of the black LEGO brick at the base. Absolutely absurd thought process. They know it visually devalues ever figure they include it with but refuse to make clear acrylic the new standard.
Ha, maybe they’ll place a usd powered led in that brick section so you can shine a beam of light up your figure’s chocolate starfish. The new Scarecrow 2.0 will have an acrylic post, though it makes zero sense because of the black LEGO brick at the base. Absolutely absurd thought process.

Ah yes, real-estate is always an issue. That proposed setup sounds epic though, looking forward to seeing what you ultimately end up withI don’t mind the costs, the time given to pay these things off helps a lot. I’m more worried about what takes up space in one of my DF120’s.
I am limiting figures to nine total per DF120,
five figures upfront, four figures raised on the back half shelf behind.
For this DF120,
I believe my current plans are -
Upfront left to right :
- A new Xenomorph or Big Chap 2.0 if we’re to get one.
- AVP:R Heavy Weaponry Wolf Predator 2.0
- Clean T-800 2.0 with shotgun raised in the center
- T-1000 2.0
- Fully BD T-800 2.0
Back half shelf left to right -
- Artisan Sparrow if I can find one
- Art figures Artisan Rooted Edward scissorhands
- KP Maestro The Crow Eric Draven
- undecided / open for a new announcement.
Does anyone know of any codes that’ll work on this?
I tried using the standard $25 off codes on SS but they don’t appear to be applicable.
I’ll have to keep them in mind, thanks man.I started ordering from Alter Ego Comics, technically $40 off since no tax and cheaper double box shipping. They have a rewards system too. Came out to $310 total.

I suppose they get their stock from SS along with Comic Concepts?
Wonder what the odds are they'll revisit it in 1/4. And I'm still surprised we haven't gotten an Arnie in that scale.some people "in the know" seem to think an endoskeleton announcement is inevitable and not far off
I'm no expert, but feels like Hot Toys aren't as keen on the 1/4 scale these days. I prefer 1/4 scale, but given the extra cost I'd imagine 1/6 would equal more sales...Wonder what the odds are they'll revisit it in 1/4. And I'm still surprised we haven't gotten an Arnie in that scale.
In Hong Kong no one except the rich have space for 1/4Yeah 1:4 from Hot Toys is dead in the water today, the fact that they haven’t updated their Bale 1:4 to reflect the new updated details confirms this.
Nothing 1:4 sells well for them.
Yeah good point. In Hong Kong no one except the rich have space for 1/4
some ppl are still waiting for their Jazzinc 89 Batmobile and the release got pushed back, so did you not want to wait for it?Yeah good point.
Also the margin for error with
these bigger items is far less,
I canceled my JazzInc ‘89 Batmobile due to its flaws.
If it’s massive and expensive,
it needs to be damn near flawless.
Mine was pushed back to January but that wasn’t my reasoning for canceling.some ppl are still waiting for their Jazzinc 89 Batmobile and the release got pushed back, so did you not want to wait for it?
And have you PO anything else from Jazzinc?
That's a shame. 1/6 is the better scale for collecting lines but would have loved to see more figures in 1/4 scale. A clean T-800, Reeve Superman, Tobey Spider-Man, Indy. All we really got was Bale Bats and Iron-Man.Yeah 1:4 from Hot Toys is dead in the water today, the fact that they haven’t updated their Bale 1:4 to reflect the new updated details confirms this.
Nothing 1:4 sells well for them.
So weird - is it just me or does the sculpt look much better there in that Secret Base pic? The forehead suddenly looks the right size proportionally to the rest of his face where it looks oddly short and compressed in the official solicitation pics.
Then that's a large amount of space that opened up in your DF120! Has that made the T-1000 that bit more tempting?Yeah good point.

Likewise with their Hulk! Fun fact: The guy who did the Horizon model how to video would go on to work for sideshow and create Court of the Dead lineThe 1/5th Horizon "T2 T-1000" vinyl kit was the first figure I bought that put me on the road to 1/6th collecting. I remember it vividly. That winter of 1991 I was obsessed with the T-1000 and saw this thing at a model shop all built up and painted with the split-head. I just had to have it.
What may have been if I just admired it and walked out of that store...
