The sculpt was annoying me as it looked like it should be much closer.

I touched it up the photo with some light burn and dodge touches, going off a photo of Giancarlo Esposito and fifteen minutes later I think it's pretty much there for me.

I really think some basic washes and touch ups could make this very convincing. Not sure if I'm going to get this.. I was on the fence but the initial in-hand shots put me right off.. now seeing what it's capable of, I'm really considering getting a set..

I think youā€™re right, a touch up would work. Iā€™m more than happy to use the clean look for the tailoring alone, Iā€™ll probably source a custom head and try sell the Mars.

Got mine. The sculpt is still there... the paint apps are just too flat. It looks much better under my dioder lighting where the shadows accentuate his distinct facial features.

Your touch ups make it so much better. I think I agree with many here that it's the paint apps that don't do the sculpt justice. I would love to touch up the sculpt, but I have no idea what kind of washes or paint to use and where. Have you seen anyone who has gone through with some touch ups?

Pretty darned pleased with this set! I can't get the injured hand up high enough on the tie for my liking, but the blown up one looks terrific.

The sculpt on the "clean" Gus is softer than the Hot Toys' Moff Gideon, but I still see him in there. I do want to redress him in his yellow shirt, however. Any leads on one?

Any other photos or video of this set out there?

Mine came in today. Overall Iā€™m very pleased with the tailoring and both sculpts. The neutral isnā€™t perfect, but I think itā€™s good for a third party company.

I used the Worldbox newly hand set, purchased from OneSixthKit. Theyā€™re great, I highly recommend. Mike came with some of the worst hands Iā€™ve seen haha. Iā€™ll drop a link below for you.

thanks, friend. are these new? not like before, they were big enough, like for Kingpin

The glasses is the best accessory imo.... most mass produced 1/6 glasses are overly thick plastic. It has to be thin and delicate to look in-scale.

I got mine recently from One Sixth Kit. Blown up Gus is great, but like agentbutterman my glasses came with one lens popped off and one wire disconnected on the glasses. Garbage. Nonetheless cool set.

Does anyone know why does the left hand of the blown up Gus looks like it was cut in half then glued together? Bad molding? Wrongly positioned seam line? It is weird because none of the other hands look like that. Or intentional battle damage? :)

Overall I am happy with the figures - yes it seems the sculpt is there but the painting it is a bit lacking to the the prototype... But this is better in hand than in photos.
