What is the jokor hair variant?I got surprised today by the delivery driver, Aragorn is here holy ****! I got unlucky imo on the hair rooting I got the jokor hair variant dang.
Also damn I think I'm missing the sharpening stone do any of you guys remember where yours was? Was it pre-installed on the belt or? Mine came with nothing on it and I cannot find it anywhere else.
I realised after I posted but I didn't take any pictures, my hair was literally as curly as Joker's hair. Also it was quite short, I water sprayed the hair, dried it and then re-applied hair spray for a less curly look. I "like" the way it looks now! What is the jokor hair variant?
And yeah, as I recall the sharpening stone was separate and I left it in the box for now, since I'd probably lose it with the fig just sitting out on the desk, for now.
If you mean your hair is &^% I had posted a whole book way salvaging his hair (which at this point I think looks pretty good) but it's not the style of Helm's Deep with small waves hanging straight down, or waves like the prototype.
I just get mad reading InArt's puff piece in the Harry Potter thread about the careful selection of dying, and the "right fibers that flow properly" yada yada. I'll bet the reality is a pile of already dyed wool is put on the production table and the production line gets to work. If you are lucky whoever does your hair isn't thinking they really need a cigarette or how it's the end of the day and they want to go home.
On the positive side whatever glue they used for rooting is epic, since I did a lot of yanking on the hair, water, etc, and it held up with very minor frizz. I had so much fiber losing a bit was a bonus.
What are you talking about? the glue that is used on rooted hair is super strong, water proof and does not come out by styling with a little water your finger tips or a comb. Some people have completely washed out the Inart product and dried the hair with a hair dryer as well.My gosh I just can't.
The release was solid, but the rooted hair is bad...you have to keep styling it otherwise, we will constantly have bald Aragorn.
I had other figs, and sometimes the rooted hair gets pulled out accidentally while futzing the clothes or head.
I am not sure why Aragorn constantly looks bald other than they put the hairline too far back
This figure for example....What are you talking about? the glue that is used on rooted hair is super strong, water proof and does not come out by styling with a little water your finger tips or a comb. I would like to know what figures you have where the hair has fallen out?

Working on switching him to an Amon Hen look. Gave him a haircut to better match the short bangs that he had. Need to slap the Elven cloak on him and fix the sleeves on his wrist to hide the peg. Still just love seeing these two together! Legolas can't come soon enough.
What? I have took my Gandalf head off numerous times and that also has the beard, all you do is spread it away from the neck its not hard lol. This figure for example....
When you, put the head on, the long hair gets between the neck joint of the body and the head cavity.
You are literally pulling the hair when putting the head back on the body. No one will be perfect every single time especially if you style it 3-4 times a year or so.
Yes be careful and so on, but we constantly have to take the head off the body just to style it and snagging the hair constantly will lead to loss hair follicles.
ok...I'm back in!!Working on switching him to an Amon Hen look. Gave him a haircut to better match the short bangs that he had. Need to slap the Elven cloak on him and fix the sleeves on his wrist to hide the peg. Still just love seeing these two together! Legolas can't come soon enough.

Sorry to hear that. InArt QC strikes againThank you bro, also checked the manual and yeah it should be there with the pendant but it's not dangg
The inart QC worries me. People are reporting the skin paint can easily come off. I am afraid to ever move the head....probably my last InArt figure. I think it's Hot Toys and Asmus at this point.Sorry to hear that. InArt QC strikes again
That looks just like him you nailed it.I won't lie it's a ***** to get the hair to look right. You do have to use hairspray and work the hair. I'm tempted to just get it redone by an artist but I'll see. So far how I did the hair as of now.View attachment 735417View attachment 735418
I think that looks great, Luis.
Thanks guys. I tried my best after the fact that I cut the bangs to off. The hair is weird it takes hair spray, and tries to revert back to it's initial curly hair. I try to brush it to get it looking more natural sweaty look. I hope it stays that way now once the hold of the spray kicks in. It's especially hard to maintain the shape Aragorn has in film. That looks just like him you nailed it.

Mohair is known for being a soft, but tough fiber, depending on how it's prepared and the original fiber curl. I had "strong" stubborn fiber that wants to do its thing, have to pretty well force it with plenty of gel, hair spray, water e.g. weigh it down. Thanks guys. To be fair I shampooed him twice, he got a bit of spray and hair oil on him and the paint held up.The inart QC worries me. People are reporting the skin paint can easily come off. I am afraid to ever move the head....probably my last InArt figure. I think it's Hot Toys and Asmus at this point.
Seen enough of balding Aragorn. I will keep my Sculpted Aragorn from InArt and get rid of comb over version..
