This is my Aragorn! Aside from the missing accessory my right eye is loose, I move him a bit it falls down so easily but man wow, this figure is a work of art.

The clothing is so thin and it creases so realistically, aside from a headsculpt on a figure the next thing I like the most is hands, man they are so detailed damnnnn.

Also I'm gonna spam as much as I can but we NEED fabric shoes with Legolas, not that plastic crap, the boots on Aragorn feel and look amazinggg, Legolas will look so weird with plastic boots, what do you guys think about that?

The hair was a mess outside of the box, puffed up like crazy and extremely curly, my sculpt doesn't have the shorter bangs on the front like many here have... Some have it some just don't...

Oh jeez the right eye is loose? That a big deal.

I once hat a Hot Toys Joker and the I was a kid. I tried to rinse out some think in the head using water, and the eyes became permanently yellow/slight tint.

I would be too afraid to try to even tighted a lose eye. To me the probelms with InArt just frightens me. I am compltely out on Legalos, mainly the price, but the problems I am seeing with Aragorn has me totally out I think.

Here is my detailed review for anyone interested. My necklace came broken. Noticed that the Elven cloak is just poor and did a comparison with Asmus cloaks. Check it out! :)

Nice review. Think ur a little harsh about ASMUS - tho I agree pretty much not even WETA got this close.

Except, yah know, for the forehead thing :monkey3 . But that can be worked around.

Whether the cheaper material/finishing use bothers people - it bothers me, since this was supposed to be "premium". Along with the overly large binding on the jacket, the too-short tunic. Not what I was expecting. Especially since at the moment he's standing next to the new Obi-Wan where HT has made a fantastic choice of materials for the character, all to-scale.

Again I'm annoyed seeing people get decent hair out of the box.

As for your necklace, for myself I wouldn't bother. It's just metallic thread looks like it unknotted. You can get rolls of the stuff off Amazon and 1mm bulk chain too. I agree folks shouldn't have to pay more for an already pricey figure, but I routinely pick up bits of stuff and tools and glue. Technically since I want the RANGER CLOAK:pfft: he may or may not have been wearing the necklace so for now I kept the necklace in the box.

But overall he looks very very good on the shelf. I just push the Eleven cloak to the back since I can't stand looking at the raw edge.

I think Asmus Aragorn wasn't that good....the clothes were great but the head was a little fat...

I think their Legalos was superb.

Well, TBH, while I'm cynical about InArt and their puff pieces about their quality control etc. -

Except for the Harry Potter arm thing I don't think I've read anything that isn't fixable. Since I managed to pop an eye out more than once. Worst case I'd order some good quality glass eyes and replace tho of course you lose the rolling feature. But I don't use that much anyway.

You might consider just getting the sculpted, since prices continue to go up and outside of a custom suspect it's not likely we'll see a somewhat affordable Ranger Aragorn again soon. I just figure having to fix stuff goes with 1/6 territory.

But definitely keep to what you are comfortable doing.(y)

Everyone up to now has had a Viggo problem. :lol

Even here the forehead thing tho in ROTK his forehead looked pretty high anyway.

Yeah, my right eye is loose, it's very annoying for me but there's nothing I can do :'( I'm also really annoyed by cross eyed figures with SERS and this bugs me so much I have to re-adjust constatly when I pose him.

Well, like with loose HT joints, you could try the trick of a thin coat of super glue tho for myself I'll try clear silicon in the socket of the foot of my new Gambit where a foot keeps falling off. A thin coat of E6000 epoxy which dries like a tough rubber might work too. Just a tiny dab from the inside. Let it dry or the eye will be permanently glued in.

He doesn't wear the necklace until after getting to Rivendell and he speaks with Arwin after Bormir dropped the Narsil handle, and he picked it up. Then once he leaves with the fellowship he has it on. I have him displayed as Strider without the Gauntlets and the wrapped ranger cloak as you can see in my image a page back. Though I have the necklace on him in case I want to switch the look to his TT one. Ironically the elven cloak is accurate material wise as in film especially in TT you can see they're thin.

Does anyone know if the grey wrapped up cloak that comes with the standard Aragorn can be unraveled and used? I've not read anywhere whether you can do so.

Overall enjoying the figure

Now that I have Aragorn the fact that Legolas is literally over a year away just sunk in now. What the hell. They really took so long to announce Legolas..

Re: the cloak, no, it can't be used that way. It's not an actual cloak under there, just a rolled up piece of fabric. While it's absurd to have to pay more for an already premium figure, the Topo cloak is a good value at $35 at least.

I feel you on the prices of it all. The clothes, especially the cloak is something cheap and should have beeen included. probably pennies for the material being used...by InArt.

There are some who'll argue in favor of the company's right to offer exclusive accessories. I won't re-litigate the whole licensing argument, but I will say that I wish they would've picked something less consequential than the cloak. The desert mouse for Paul Atreides is a perfect exclusive accessory, IMO: neat to have but unnecessary to feel like you have a "complete" figure.

Someone on FB posted their Aragorn with a 3D printed Uruk helm. That would've been a cool exclusive, I think!

I think the fact that is was offered as an "exclusive" which they were never clear about and it was a very cheap throw in that would've cost them practically nothing.

A cloak is pretty cheap and especially cheap compared to more complex designs...

Try a mild dish soap (dawn) on a q-tip and rub lightly in circular motions. If that doesn’t work, I’d just attempt an exchange since you already need something else exchanged.

I wouldn’t use alcohol due to InArt’s use of thin, delicate paint apps. If you do decide to use alcohol, don’t rub it in, only dot it on the necessary spot.

Make sure the q-tip is saturated to where it doesn’t catch the plastic.
The Dawn method worked a treat, by the way. Great shout! Now all I'll need is a new scabbard, and I'll be in mint condition.

I received my sculpted Aragorn today. I opened had a quick look and really like the head sculpt. Much better in person than all the photo's (no disrespect) that have been posted. I'll open the accessories and assemble at a later date. Sorry folks I cannot get myself to trust this magnet base system (this is my first one). After spending all this money on a figure I had to go find a stand I was not using so I could sleep at night!! I have a few idea's for an official stand but this is how it will be displayed until those ideas come to fruition

Just getting back up to speed on this thread.. Think there's any chance of Kit having any limited Premium Aragorns, as he did with Gandalf?
Can anyone vouch for PopCollectibles? Reliable at all? Anyone?
Thanks....
