What are you guys planning to buy with the added points? :lol

With the paltry amount from Spook, in addition to my regular rewards, I should have enough to cover the shipping for another statue at least...

My account was at zero before the first email.

The email:

As a thank you for joining us, we've added $1.00 in Sideshow Rewards to your account. Use them to get something cool!

Gee. What should I spend my dollar on? Decisions, decisions.

This is a new one:

As a thank you for joining us, here's a promo code for $3 off select items. We've added this code to your online wallet. Use it at checkout to get something cool!

That one lasts a month.

Everything is geared towards getting sales quickly. Is Sideshow short of money? Are they paying their social media team in Dark Troopers?

Okay let's see what you can spend that on:

Received an additional $25 in total ($1 + $2 + $1 + $1 + $2 + $3 + $15). All expiring Feb 1st.

So that's a potential grand total of $151.50 for the event if my calculations are correct. Did anyone manage to get the full amount?
I think the rest of us are assuming that if anyone did, it was YOU! :lol

I didn't keep a running total, but based on what I managed to collect and what I know I missed, the total is $123.50 for all the codes, not counting registration or lotteries. I believe there was a total of $9 from the various lotteries (don't think I missed any), so potentially $137.50 if you add up everything. Plus an unknown amount from BBB for his question during the after party stream.

Probably the last time I'll participate. It's not enjoyable and I'm too old to last so many days on minimal sleep. I slogged it out to boost my remaining points for a figure I want to pre-order, but with all these short term rewards, it's not worth the effort anymore.

PS. I just remembered, I received a single use $2 code via email from the fortune teller. So the total of the regular codes should be $121.50, rather than $123.50.

LOL. I did pretty well but missed a few. Not worth the lack of sleep but I figured if this was my last time, might as well give it a good try. Would have been great if someone here got them all.

The short term expiry on these ruins it. For overseas folks like me, need $60+ just to cover tax and shipping. Even then, it's a minimal saving vs buying from a local seller and not worth the trouble.

That applies for U.S. customers as well. I'm in Michigan and (depending on the price of the figure) I find that I have to burn anywhere from $45 to $60 in reward points with Sideshow just to get their cost competitive with other out-of-state sellers who don't charge sales tax and whose shipping is half what Sideshow charges me. If the stars align I can combine reward points with a $20 Thank You promo code, but those are rarely available when something I actually want goes up for order.
