Ordered the LE. I’m guessing Clayface and then Batman Beyond will be next for this line?

Finally after several attempts.. managed to secure the LE.
Phew.
I really love the ol' Kenner animated Scarecrow figure (with "glowing" eyes and spinning hand feature), so I gotta have this one.
Bring me Clayface next!

🥳 One for play, one to store away.
According to the latest Toy Talk, Clayface won't be available for preorder before early next year. Plenty of time to announce/tease another character. Next up is DesignerCon, I think. Something to look forward to.

edit: haha they noticed

Got my Limited Edition ordered :)

FYI the Limited Edition is showing as "Almost Gone" in case anyone is on the fence about ordering

Took quite a while. Ivy limited edition sold out way faster!

True but still sold out in less than 24 hours (it was sold out from about 3 hours ago I just wasnt able to post)

Personally I hope all the "Limited Edition" ones hang around for this kind of length of time compared to the instant sell out that Rogue had

yeah that Rogue girl was crazy.

Are you thinking of Man-Bat? Not sure how fast his limited edition sold, but Ivy’s exclusive was a timed edition and available for a whole week. Until we see the edition size number on the shipping box, we won’t know whether Ivy’s exclusive even sold 1000 units. Although I find it hard to believe she didn’t. I hope she was a success and sold as well as Harley or better.

Eh.. yeah, I might have. Got confused with this LE and TE thingy!
I wonder what made them decide which character got which treatment.

In my mind it was a girl that is sold out fast, and she’s wearing green. Maybe my memory mixed it with Rogue. 😅

I hope Clayface got a TE treatment!

Same! And I hope the same for Batman Beyond as well!

I really do wonder how they choose which figure gets what kind of run

For example, Joker and Man-Bat SDCC versions (2022 and 2023) each had 1000 units made, which makes sense given that they were convention exclusives. They then had regular releases with less parts (Joker without the extra 2 heads and Man-Bat without the larger flight wings and less heads)

Harley Quinn, Phantasm, Bane, & Poison Ivy all got "Timed Editions" followed by regular releases (based on the boxes of the Timed Editions I have the runs were: Harley = 1900, Phantasm = 1575 and Bane = 1200)

The exceptions are Batman, Catwoman and Mr Freeze (three of the earliest figures) who got "Mondo Exclusive" versions exclusive to the Mondo store (The box for my Mr Freeze exclusive doesnt show a number on the mailer). My guess is that if those were made now they would have also been "Timed Editions" instead - maybe they hung around for to long and so Mondo decided to change tactics going forward to instead only offer future figures for a week

But then you get Scarecrow who is a "Limited Edition" of 1000 units only

I wonder if Scarecrow was meant to be the SDCC figure (we never got one for 2024) but they decided to hold him back for a Halloween release?

Ugh, I can’t believe I missed out on the LE presale! I’ve managed to get the limited versions on every earlier Mondo BTAS release so far, but this one somehow managed to just slip my mind.

Also, to be quite frank, I just didn’t think Scarecrow was enough of a fan-favorite to sell out so quickly.:gah:

That is a very good observation!
So Scarecrow is the anomaly here.. but I think your hypothesis is correct.
IMHO, they should make Clayface or Batman Beyond as the LE SDCC figure, and then release this Scarecrow as a TE Halloween special.

So maybe.. Mondo cares about our wallets after all.
nope!

Batman Beyond coming soon. Damn they're rolling these out really fast! My wallet...

Is Beyond good?

By the time Beyond was on, I sort of outgrew the Batman animated shows in general.

I loved the original BTAS but could not get into New Batman Adventures due to the art style and never saw Beyond.

Might of missed the boat - even if I watch Beyond now, there’s no nostalgia attached . On the bright side, it’ll prevent me from spending $200+ on yet another Mondo line. :lol
