Fantastic acting, wonderful singing, inspired cinematography, and better special/practical effects than many of the latest superhero movies. Everything about it was done so well!
Dance scene got me too. Honestly only moment of real joy in the whole story so far. I have a lot of problems with the story, but none of that is the movie's fault, as the source material is what it is. My wife thought it was excellent too, but definitely not an "uplifting" musical. It can't match the sheer joy of the Wizard of Oz.
