If Inart makes smaller Resident Evil toys, I hope they do all the characters AND the monsters like Tyrant, Mr. X, Nemesis, Hunter, Zombies, Lickers, and more. I only have Palisades Tyrant and Mr. X and they fit with the Limtoys RE2 Leon, Zombie Cops, and Licker, but they're pretty old and outdated now in terms of articulation. Limtoys was supposed to make Hunter, there were prototype 3d models shown a few years ago, but no news since then.

Spent all evening transferring Ashleys clothes over to this special seamless rubber body. It’s by threezero, from the 300 queen character. It has a metal skeleton but is not made out of silicone like Phicen bodies. The proportions are basically the exact same as the stock body.

Anyway, making all the feet pegs and hands and everything fit together was a total nightmare. I even broke a footpeg and made a hole in her tights. All that trouble only to realise I liked her better with her jacket on… maybe if I had her necklace and some bracelets it could make her visually more interesting.

I still have a hard time with the buck teeth look. Aesthetically it’s not great.

I'd

Honestly I'd consider switching most of my 1/6 out for 1/12. Just so I can have characters with monsters. Definitely depends on cost though.

This summer I heard whispers that InArt was working on a 1/12 Leon from RE2 remake I believe, I suppose the latest news confirm this. So I wouldn't get too excited for 1/6 RE figures from them just yet.
Ah another missed opportunity imo.
Would Lim ever consider diving into the 1/6 RE universe?

I’ve got so many amazing figures this year, including overpriced InArt ones, but MT Leon is figure of the year for me. There’s something very special about him. Always happy to see him lol miss mines, I’ll be home for Christmas and see my babies :monkey3 :monkey2

P.S. have no interest in InArt 1/12 price gonna be higher than any 1/6 RE figures we have rn.

I'm very interested in PRIME 1 Leon.
It's expensive, but it will definitely be the best Leon figure from RE4.
PRIME 1 has been improving in quality recently.

I would like that Leon but the space required..
If there is a non deluxe ver without the chainsaw man I would more tempted as it'll take less space

Why 1/12 though? Is this because Dam still hold the RE license for 1/6? 😅
It would be epic if we get 1/6 rooted hair Leon with high quality from Inart..

That was Patriot Studios They're still doing 1/12 RE stuff as far as I'm aware.

At this point, probably not. There's other things LIM needs to ship first and other projects to wrap up. DAM was supposedly still working on official 1/6 figures but who knows when they'll be able to announce anything with Capcom dragging the whole process. Third parties will keep making figures too I'm sure.

LIM actually did try to acquire the license for RE2 Leon and then RE4 Leon, both times negotiations fell through. The license is actually very expensive and Capcom is so uncooperative that it just doesn't make sense to even bother.

Take it with a grain of salt but what I've been told is InArt's been struggling financially because of their 1/6 business model. They pay a lot of money for licenses, then have to spend a lot more money on production of their rooted hair figures.
Their Gandalf actually had to move factories because their first factory was too expensive and couldn't keep up with the demand. They also put up figures for pre-order to gain some money back for the production of second/third batches of their previously announced or released figures

So, this 1/12 line was born as a way to help them financially, that is actually why their 1/12 figures are more in line with SHF and not Mezco, because believe it or not a the production costs of a fully clothed 1/12 figure isn't much lower than the cost of a 1/6 figure, however the profit is way less because you can't sell it at the price of a 1/6 figure.

Sculpted 1/12 figures avoid this because they're basically toys, however InArt's strategy with their 1/12 figures will supposedly be higher quality sculpts and paint than what other brands offer but if they only do DC stuff then they're still paying large sums for the licenses and they have to compete with a lot of established brands that are already producing or have produces the same figures.

That's when video games come into play, as those licenses are much cheaper, don't come with likeness costs or a bunch of other complicated stuff attached and it's very much still an untapped market in the 1/12 world.

So basically expect to see a lot more of InArt's 1/12 video game line in the future, as it will essentially be what funds their 1/6 production, or at least that's what they hope, we'll have to see if the gamble pays off.

I wouldn’t mind some good 1/12 figures but the clothing can be iffy and honestly I want a cohesive line not just random characters from different titles. Start with re1r and go from there. But yay… another 1/12 LEON. 🙄

InArt's 1/12 figures will be entirely or mostly sculpted, kind of like Mafex or SHF.

They were smart in not pursuing clothed 1/12 figures as they are more expensive to produce and aren't received as well as sculpted figures because 1/12 collectors don't like how the clothes restrict articulation and most of them don't really want to own a "mini 1/6 figure" they want a toy, and InArt's strategy will be offering toys but with much better sculpting and paint.

As far Leon, I believe it's from RE2 remake but I could be wrong. Someone told me it's because InArt likes making figures that have already been done by other brands so they have a physical product to draw from themselves and so collectors can inevitably compare the two figures to show how superior their version is. I believe this is more of a personal opinion than anything.

@R_R_X
Short off topic question, sorry can't help it :monkey3
I know you're not part of Master Team but still... any news on the MT Toys Micah figure...? Maybe you've heard anything you could share?

Speaking of 1/12 RE figures.

is the Lim 1/12 RE4R Leon that was teased still in the works??

As previously stated, LIM is focused on getting products shipped and casting other 1/6 projects to be announced, so the priority right now isn't on 1/12 figures.
I believe Patriot Studios released a 1/12 RE4 Leon, if you really want one.
