You have any „inside“ knowledge?

If so, I really don’t need to knap anything. The only thing that interests me is are the announced and shown figures still happening (Riddler, Penguin and Two-Face for example) and is the recent Biff the quality we can expect from now on? :)

There's no indication anything's cancelled.

You can factor this message in...

...and surmise that one of the reasons things have slowed down is that they want to release good products, which relies on everything falling into place.

I don't know what happened with Biff, but he may have been a casualty of things not falling into place.

While we may not see what we want soon, and for me that's the '66 line, the positive is that Mars are still working.

The bad news is that the chef's still preparing the fat bird, and he isn't ready to go into the oven yet.

That’s odd since Penguin already looks absolutely perfect, and finished. I recall they briefly posted one of the official solicitation photos for him on their Instagram - titled “Captain Villain”.

I really hope they don’t try and over-fix him and we wind up with another Biff fiasco - if this happens.

Unfortunately patience really is required right now, lest Penguin gets 'Biffed'.

The timing is unfortunate as I wanted to see Mars get into a steady run of '66 ahead of JazzInc.

I’m fine with waiting as long as we get a quality figure. The 66 joker was stellar. Also, I’d rather buy a $200 mars figure than a $1000 jazzinc 2 pack.

Same here, there’s no way I’m going to blow $500+ for each of the ‘66 villains from JazzInc - especially with how “simple” their costuming is, and how awesome Mars’ offerings have been - especially for the price.

MAT017 Riddler will be released this month.

It will be accompanied by a limited stock of 1966 Alfred (no pre-order required)

Penguin will be released at the perfect time. Please be patient. 66line continues to produce. I once said that all of them both made, and the progress was 60%. Now the progress is 100% completed.

No more teasing.
Only in stock.

That was their plan with '66 Penguin: not to put him up for pre-order until he was close to production to avoid complaints about long wait times. Though they got complaints about the long wait to pre-order instead. :lol

We have radio silence for months on end, and now suddenly everything is dropping - JazzInc teases ‘66 Catwoman and DeVito Penguin renders, Mars’ ‘66 Alfred & Penguin will be “surprise” in-stock drops, Riddler is releasing this month, and I still need to do Christmas shopping.

It's as though Mars got a nudge in the ribs recently...

This is both good and potentially not good news - good news of course that the figures are coming a lot sooner than expected, but we'd better hope they're nailing them first go, because there won't be an opportunity for adjustments to be made between prototype and production with a release strategy like this.

All that to say, I sure hope the hat's the right colour! :lol

My suspicion that Mars got a prod in the ribs has been confirmed. I've been hoping and expecting it to happen since last week.

Mars woke up and realised they needed to provide some much needed news. It's even better though as it's not just a general update, but news that Riddler is releasing this month along with Alfred, and that the '66 line is still in production.

This is indeed good news! I never considered getting Alfred but might get caught up in 1966 fever if he and Penguin indeed end up being in-stock ready when they go up.

I'm happy that Mars is back in action. I want that Riddler... I want that Penguin... I want that Two-Face...

I hope that Mars will move forward swiftly on Mr. Freeze/Arnold as well, since its been a very long time since that tease. And I hope they make a two-pack available with the armored suit and the polar bear robe.

That's a weird kind of apples to oranges comparison. Our Licensed figure started at $300, not $1000, not $500 either
Just wondering if @fantasticfrog is Australia based. The Pfieffer Catwoman starts at about AU$740 here. The deluxe double display about AU$2000. We get royally boned on retail prices here now.😬

I was exaggerating but if something was a 2 pack from jazz it would be significantly higher than mars. I also wouldn’t have the willpower for a base figure and would need the most expensive option. I need an intervention.

Mars’ ‘66 Riddler two-pack is loaded with accessories for $264.

Granted there’s no custom seamless body, movable eyes, rooted hair, or licensing costs, and three heads instead of 6, fairly simple costuming & construction, but still, it’s a crazy value. This set is going to be insane.

Fingers crossed the surprise in-stock Penguin allotment materializes soon. :monkey2
