Massaging the material has helped quite a bit. There is still a little crease in the area where it was folded over. I’m wondering if some heat will help that, shall try when I can.

Now that this has been mostly solved, to the point that I’m content enough as is. I do really think this figure looks great. I’m a big fan of the sculpt, I liked it in pics but it’s even better in hand. The physique is nice, and he has presence.

My only gripe, is trying to put the hands on. These are easily the hardest InArt hands to put on, and this suit has zero hold, so it’s a challenge getting the hands on😂

I think this looks really good now. I would strongly advise against any heat treatment. That material and the screenprinting are both paper thin. Any heat could immediately damage it.

Yeah. I had thought about the possibility of it peeling or something. Maybe some water will help actually.

The likeness is very strong imo. Didn’t even have to reposition the eyes. Came straight out of the box perfect.

I think this may be the first SERS figure that doesn’t look insane with the eyes facing forward, most of the time you have to have them looking to the side to look right.

So will the flying stand damage the suit more so than a HT waist grabber?
I don’t use any of these, but theoretically it will. Rubber is printed on the fabric so if you’ll keep it stretched for a long time it will change the shape. I use peener grabber stands for everything I have.

So a waist grabber will damage the suit with the same or more chances due to the force of it being pressed onto the suit for long period of time.

Waist grabber is 1000 times worse here. The suit is already thin as it is. Having a pincher applying continues pressure onto two points on both sides of the body is just asking for trouble. I can't imagine the new flight stand will do much damage but we really don't know since that will most likely be a long term assessment.

I know i was saying the same to @JorjeCroft because he overreacted to the flight stand with no evidence of damage yet except speculation.

Wow, what a difference, the sleeve length looks so much better now!

I should probably open mine at this point and see if there are any issues. Still in the box sealed for a few weeks now.

Great job futzing wit that to get the sleeves to look better :clap

I don’t know if you care at this point, but I would dip the peg holes of the hands into really really hot water to soften it. I do that for all figures.

Then InArt made swapping hands fun with the magnets (i had fun with it and no QC issues)….

…then InArt reversed that with this Superman and went back to the archaic ways 😫

Anyway, hot water is your friend here. The slippery nature of his outfit offers no good grip.

What if we remove hands, put fabric in the water and keep it straightened for few days then pull sleeve higher and put hand back, it might go away. Don’t use heat it gonna melt the texture.

I was waiting to your review! And I’m sorry you got quality issues, definitely ask for a new set of eyes!!! I agree with you, while this figure is gorgeous I think HT can beat this up, so we are patiently waiting :monkey4 I’m not HT fanboy, don’t even have lot of HT, but never had any quality issues with them, which is a big plus for me. InArt ruins whole experience with their nonexistent QC. Me and you, both of us are cursed :monkey4 :monkey2

P.S. wrist wrinkles and collar gaps seems to be a common issue with this release, of course InArt gonna say that’s a normal thing.
Thankfully I don't need new eyes. After a bit of light scrubbing, I was able to get that excess off. Used some polishing sticks to buff the eyes and get the shine back.

I can't say I've never had a QC issues with HT figures, but I've been able to get a replacement with no fuss thanks to the great customer service from Sideshow as well as other retailers. Unfortunately with InArt, apparently they have a wide berth for what they consider to be acceptable and within normal standards which ends up coming off as they're just really not interested in making it right for ppl with legitimate QC issues. I still can't get over how they sent someone a colored pencil to fix missing paint on the nose of their Gandalf :lol :slap

But, maybe we are cursed though :monkey2

I feel bad for everyone receiving these figures with issues. Luckily all my issues with Inart have been minor self fixes out of the box when needed except for my Aragorn's sword. Hoping I don't receive this Superman

I have all my INART figures on HT crotch grabber bases. I don’t ever position the grabber at it’s highest setting, but grazing the leg just enough in case of an emergency.

All my figures are usually always stable and I test them by vigorously shaking the desk or whatever, and they hardly move (only figure that falls is my OT Begins figure due to weak ankles), but I’d still rather plop them on a crotch grabber base over using the magnetic bases. I don’t trust them at all, despite thinking figures that tip over is usually user error most of the time.
