Yeah it seemed like such a risky thing to do at the time. I wonder if there's really nothin to it.
I’ve removed the top of the suit. But didn’t want to try and peel down the top of the boots that are glued on. The suit is fairly fragile. But plenty of customizers have done it to paint their suits.

It's definitely doable but with care. More care than I'd be willing to risk. Too clumsy. Just glad it's a confirmed option for customizers and folks like yourself. Big fan of your work, btw.

The suit appears to be perfect for the semi-normal to heavy articulation expected for a 1/6 Supes. It's stretchy enough for a good range of movement.

Definitely wouldn't push it past 1/6 fig articulation limits tho, It'd likely rip, especially at the seams, without too much trouble but this is all guesswork on my part.

it may be just me but i haven't touched changing the cape or gotten the other accessories out of the box, I just got the figure displayed pretty much out of the box. I think this is one of the OCD parts in me as collector, for figures I truly love, i haven't taken the other stuff out as if to keep it brand spanking new.

same here, after hearing about the hassle of changing hands I didn't even try .

Just received my Superman figure today! It’s an amazing looking figure but that cape changing system is scary.
Yeah, gotta be reeeeeeaaal careful pulling those cape plugs out or risk tearing that delicate rubber collar. That’s why I like my Unreal cape, no hard plastic plugs, just soft fabric non-destructive tabs.

I don’t blame you. I was super nervous about switching the cape because I’d seen a few different people post photos where one of the plastic loops for the cape tabs had broken.

And really it looks pretty great with the drape cape, right out of the box. But I decided that I wanted to try posing it with the flight stand, and I thought he would look better in a flight pose, with the wire cape.

I left some of the accessories in the box, but I did take a few photos with him holding the kryptonite spear, and with the alternate head sculpt.
