I agree. That's a sound approach. Alright, I'll wait to see what might be announced for a new younger Indy.

Starting playing the new game yesterday. The controls are very clunky, but Indiana Jones has been a blast to play. It feels just like you are playing one of the movies. I just had to beat up a dog lol.

Waiting for PS5 version next year. I can't wait to play it, it would be so great if HT announced a new young Indy out of nowhere like their Plo Koon today.

Thanks for posting that link. One of the many reasons I’m loving playing the game. Slocombe is not talked about enough for the success of Indy and Raiders especially is one of the most beautiful looking films ever.

Loving this the more I play it. Not a great fan of first person for this but it has grown on me. The story is good and the gameplay solid. Love the puzzles as well. Brings me a lot of great nostalgic memories of the old games and the developers clearly have love for the franchise and the previous games.
And I would rate this as better Indy than the last two films.
Edit: finished this and loved it. Its not perfect, I agree with what someone said, the controls are clunky (I don’t like xbox controller much) and this made the finale probably harder than it should have been. But the finale is otherwise terrific and I honestly I loved watching the cut scenes abs following the story. First time I’ve not skipped cut scenes and some of them are quite long. I would rate this the fourth best Indy movie. Third best villain. Second best female protagonist. And the guy who does Indy’s voice is perfection. And the game developers are really to be commended for going old school and showing genuine love for the franchise. I would wait 5-10 years to play another one
