Actually think That it looks incredible and I probably like it more than their Geralt. But it's abit too big, I wish it was 1/4 or 1/3 scale.

I'm Suprised this isn't getting talked about more. But ig its priced-out alot of collectors and to mention it's size as well..

Lots of Ciri love lately, Prime1 also released a new Ciri this month.

It's called PRESTIGE LINE for a reason, this piece isn't for us peasants, and rich collectors probably have their own prestige forum :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I can only see one retailer (so far) in Europe carrying this piece - and they want just under 5K Euro's for it!! It would be "cheaper" to get it direct from Pure Arts, but they have two methods to pay - All up front, or some "payment plan" that locks you in for 16 months - as of the time of writing. It comes to about 3.5K Euros if you buy it direct from Pure Arts.

The problem I have - aside from the obvious ass rape that this piece represents - is that, after so much drama in the past 12 - 24 months, with producers and retailers going bust, and effectively running off with peoples money - I get nervous when it comes to laying down these sums - so far in advcnace of seeing the final product - not to mention, we still have the age old issue of prototype vs production.

I also wonder if (for me personally) Ciri is a character that deserves the 1/2 scale treatment - especially in my collection. Space for me is limited, like most other people - and 1/2 scale is somewhat of an "elite scale" - in as much as it will dominate a key role in my display space - is Ciri really that character that belongs in such a dominating role? I remember when Queen and Prime 1 previewed a 1/2 Wonder Woman 1984 in Gold Armour - and I would have been all in for that piece - but Ciri?.....

Yeah buying directly is the way to go imo, you'll likely get it quicker buying direct too. But if customs/fees is an issue in your country, PA have warehouses all over the world so you'll likely avoid having to pay any extra fees on top. The shipping is pretty good from them too, to the UK it was going to cost $250, which is good considering its weight and coming in two boxes.

I do wish they would just take a single downpayment, I also dont like the idea of being locked in for that many number of months. Its not that I dont trust PA, but anything can happen. At least they seem to be doing well and hold a professional standard and constantly engage with the community.

With regards to prototype vs production, I have owned two pieces of PAs statues (Johnny Silverhand 1/4 and Geralt 1/6 on throne). Pretty good with maybe a 5-10% drop in quality imo. Their paints app could be better and they don't paint eyes very well I have noticed. Im unsure of the PU resin they use for the Skin, its got that slight translucent look but I dont think it holds detail very well, it looks abit soft imo.

I love Ciri, but yeah I agree, she doesn't need that 1/2 treatment. I wish their prestige line was also available at 1/3, that's the sweet spot for me. The width and depth these 1/2 take with that massive base isn't very appealing for most collectors.

I'm gonna sleep on this for a few days. I really only collect female characters (sue me :D - but when I stare at a figure, it may as well be pleasing to the eye!!) - and there really aren't that many 1/2 scale female figures being made - especially if you want "hyper realistic" characters - and not the anime stuff that's rarely made.....that's probably not a great reason to buy this figure though - who said figure collecting was logical.

Whatever I do decide, it will definately be a traditional "pre-order" and as low a % up front as I can find - it's probably worth paying a little extra, to avoid being locked into something, that - by the time it is ready for shipping - either something better is available, or if the final product doesn't live up to the prototype - I need to keep the option to walk away open.

Are you getting this? Or has the price scared you away? - If I pre-order, I'm going to have a large jar of vaseline ready for payment day - that's for sure.

Haha yeah it is a pleasing looking figure to the eye . It will be an impressive piece for sure and doesnt look pervy like many big scale female statues lol.

Yeah the nrd is a kicker, but at least you can walk away if it turns out bad, but better than being locked into a payment plan. I am not getting this, the price isnt the main issue for me, its the size. Most of my stuff is 1/4 and 1/3 scale, I've specific cabinets and the width and depth of this wouldn't fit in my setup sadly.
