I remember reading before that Inart was working on a Joker 2 Harley months before that movie was released. It’s probably not being made anymore though based off of it’s reception. So unless the new Superman movie is a box office disaster, I could see it being announced next year.

Same applies to Hot Toys...
Yep, even more so.
InArt keep saying they'll make certain characters only for them to get axed due to the film sucking.

Not their fault, but they need to focus more on established hits, not the next unproven flavour of the month.
So far, they have been. And this is one of the reasons why I really like their selections, even if they’re not for me. MJ is a whatever pick.

HT are returning to the well and are announcing multiple figures a week now.

Two from a 27 year old film, one from a 6 year old film. They'll still make stuff from annual tentpole films, just not as many.
I have seen signs of this, though I was really referring to Star Wars; all I see is them putting out what seems like Disney show stuff that ends up going seemingly on clearance not long after.. Not trying to knock anyone else's interest, just saying it seems like they have for a very long time been spending so much in terms of resources on stuff that hasn't been selling even with more limited runs....

I think they've made but also lost a lot of money in making Disney Star Wars stuff.

Mando sold, but they haven't made anything from Andor or Skeleton Crew yet, not to mention stopped all sequel trilogy figures. This isn't news, Star Wars merchandise doesn't sell like it used to, mainly due to the brand being stained and most content coming from Disney being atrocious.

It doesn't help things when the morons keep announcing new projects only to cancel or delay them indefinitely. What a mess!

Yeah, I honestly do not even follow Hot Toys Star Wars releases anymore so I do not know which shows/movies the majority of what I am seeing is coming from. I know a lot of it is prequel stuff, and even that doesn't seem to be selling as well anymore, though since I do not follow it, I could be wrong, I just know that I am not seeing OT Star Wars....

They're increasing their focus on the prequels now going into a massive anniversary year, which will serve them well. Strange though that they only put 2 figures from Episode 1 up for PO this year, despite all their 25th anniversary hoopla.

Where’s Lisan al Gaib? If Ron releases first, he leapfrogs Paul. It’d be the first time where that happens.
It may be a first for InArt but not uncommon in the hobby at all.

Ron has a lot of similarities with Harry and his clothing is far less complicated than the Stillsuit. I hope IA are really taking their time with Paul since they seriously need a win to keep people on side.

Yep, just pointing out it’ll be a first for INART.

They’ve been making bangers after bangers. They’ll be fine.

I see this posted on Reddit so maybe both Paul and Ron are getting ready to ship. Looking forward to Paul the most so hopefully it’s true.

If this is the case, they are really pumping these out fast despite us really nagging on this aspect of them.

So far, The Batman is the only one that's had a long delivery time for me from preorder going up for sale. These are all my delivery times compared to going up for preorder:

Joker - 16 months (March 22 - July 23) Spec
Gandalf - 20 months (May 22 - January 24) Kit
Harry Potter - 16 months (May 23 - September 24) Kit
Aragorn- 19 months (January 23 - September 24) Kit
Batman - 27 months (August 22 - November 24) Kit
Superman- 13 months (October 23 - November 24) Kit

Joaquin Joker will be at 11 months as of now, then add on the 6 months it will still only be at 17 months.

Ron will be at 7 months as of now, adding 6 months would still be 13 months.

Paul will be at 9 months as of now, adding 6 months would be 15 months.

These are all great times regardless if we get them now, or 6 months from now.

The big thing is going to be the QC. There have been a lot of various problems with Aragorn and Harry, not sure about the DC guys as I'm not following along. It's fantastic news if Joaquin, Ron and Paul are all ready and out to folks in about a year, but they need to get a handle on the QC stuff. Faster production time is meaningless if they're still riddled with problems.
