Glued on is still referred to as rooted. I don't think any 1/6 is actually punching in hair are they?
Only JND who are punching hair into their silicone sculpts but we’ve yet to see the production figure of their Joker, which will be the first to use that technique at mass production in this scale.

When pics of this dropped I was excited and wary at the same time.

Purearts really that bad??
No they are just upset they didn’t get a new Hot Toys Iron Man color variant. Go get it :monkey3
You should buy 6 then cause what if the 2 that you have posed fall and get damaged, then you can replace them with the extra 2 that you have, while the remaining 2 sit in storage for just in case something happens to those 2 lol.
I actually did that with Cavill Geralt by SooSoo lol

It's mainly their 1/6th line is at a starting point. Their quality isn't great but they are trying, their statues are amazing so I think this will be their first official figure that is at a higher level of design and quality. Here is hoping

Damn these promo pictures suck. It's either dim lighting or crappy photoshop and lights. I'll hold off for some of the forum members here get this in hand and post better pictures. I don't think it'll be better than the prime 1 version (the 1/4 of that was my first prime 1 statue) but if the final product is good I'll be tempted to get this.

Pre ordered the moment I saw it.

I like the head sculpt, because it's still faithful to the book description, so slight variation from the game model, is fine by me as long as it still fits geralt's description.

I just hope it turns out like the prototype, and has that level of quality, and isn't cheaply painted or something like that.

Wish the boots weren't one piece but if they are made of soft plastic or rubber and can articulate to some degree I'll be happy.

Their recent figure is Eivor. The promo pictures look really bad, the biggest mistake is they did not hire a good poser and did not hire a better photographer. Same case with Desmond. Looks like a Sideshow figure from 2000s.

But I’ve seen photos and videos, Eivor turns out really good. I’m tempted to get one. At least Pure Arts made a good promo shots for Geralt. I’m quite sure this one could turn up to be good if it’s sculpted hair. The likeness really look like it was based on the promotional art, when the costume is still navy blue, not the brown in game. Or like from the cinematic trailer. Geralt from in game cutscenes has softer features compared to promo art. More handsome. That’s why some comments are saying it looks like The Witcher 1 or 2. Because this head have hard features. Too strong. Believe me, I’ve been trying to sculpt Geralt for years. So this is from a lot of observing and personal experience.

From what I’ve seen with PureArts figures the prototype is pretty much what you get.

According to them the same people making the prototypes are the same ones working in the production pieces. They don’t have dedicated prototype artists like HT etc.
