I’m not sure what I envy more, that sweet display or the fact you display in your kitchen. I think my wife would kill me if I displayed figures in the kitchen.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty lucky as my wife is almost as keen on collectibles as myself... though I do most of the cooking, so the kitchen is probably more my space hahaI’m not sure what I envy more, that sweet display or the fact you display in your kitchen. I think my wife would kill me if I displayed figures in the kitchen.

Got some good deal during Black Friday - European distribution was probably trying to sell last pieces, so I purchased Hunter, Echo and Boba Deluxe for about 450 USD all three. (unboxing of Boba will wait till Christmas). And week after that my preordered Thrawn finally arrived, together with most famous pirate of the galaxy, Hondo. Other than that, some MOTU figures - latest Horde Trooper and Nightstalker (Mattel Creations exclusives) and some glass Nuka Cola variants.

Been collecting some Star Wars Legion expansion packs of late. I don't actually play the game, just love screwing around with the figures and incorporating them into things around the house. Here's a downed AT-ST in my succulent garden (can you spot Grogu having a snack), as well as Full Metal Mando haha.

Added some new machines to my shelf:
1) Custom AT-ST diorama scene using Star Wars Legion miniatures. Was a fun experience creating the base out of leftover polystyrene and natural stuff from the garden, then doing my best to paint it.
2) Iron Giant figure from AliExpress. Really impressed with the quality considering the cheap price tag. Considering giving it a chrome finish with the airbrush for the wow factor, but that might stray to far from the screen look...

Not technically a "collectible", but I finally got myself a 3D printer and am excited to start making some custom bases for my 1/4 figures. Stay tuned!

I really wish I remember this thread when I get new stuff lol. I got Inart Batman and Superman at the very end of December!
I love Superman! Definitely an improvement over the 9 year old Hot Toys version (that they did 3 freaking times with no upgrades

I do like inart Batman, but it didn't wow me like I expected. I keep letting other people's opinions influence me, which is not good. It doesn't blow the hot toys out of the water, but there is some good upgrades, and that rooted hair unmasked is incredible.
Next, I got artisan Jack Sparrow 1 week ago to the day I'm typing this!
It's ok. The rooted hair is awesome, but I'm not wowed by it like I was when I got the DX15 version of this character. I'm so underwhelmed by this I haven't even taken the plastic off the hands
I wish I can send this back to sideshow for a refund, but I love the base this comes with, and I refuse to sell anywhere thanks to getting scammed 1 time. I don't remember having to put the little accessories on the dx15, and I have 0 desire to ever fully kit this figure out with the accessories it comes with.
