Glad Hot Toys fixed Sideshow's overlook and are offering both Sinker AND Comet this time around. I wish they'd have added another helmet to give us the option for an unnamed grunt as well though.

So the Sinker helmet is the regular, the Comet helmet is the deluxe? I was just looking a little more thoroughly and it doesn't look like the deluxe version has the Phase I and Phase II helmets for Comet and the standard has the Phase II helmet for Sinker. Unless I'm missing something?

Correct.

Think of it being similar to the original TCW 501st Deluxe set.

Makes sense. Just wanted to make sure you couldn’t buy two deluxes and be able to set up both guys, you have to get the standard and the deluxe.

Also just feels backwards with Sinker being the standard since he was a sergeant and Comet being the deluxe at corporal. Felt like I was missing something.

Does it? The photo that shows everything that comes with the set seems to suggest there's only two helmets. I know they show the third (Sinker) helmet in some of the photos but the listing specifically states two helmets.

Buying one Deluxe and one normal. As someone has already pointed out that these are named clones, not just grunts. So two is enough for my display.

Of course, you know. Unless they're planning to release the 104th normal Clone...later.

That's why it kills me that they didn't just make a sculpt for Sinker. Would have been a great opportunity to make these guys under their proper names today, and then double dip with an actual generic 104th grunt sometime next year. Just like we bought Jessie and Fives and Echo after the 501st grunt, we would have done the same here. Just in reverse this time.

Doing the same, two is the way to go I think. Comet has a real unique helmet, so glad they went with him here.

I've made it a point to have my Clones with their buckets off, but Comet would have been an exception regardless. As you said, his helmet is really cool.

You know what dawned on me this morning - does @CREG Customs still frequent these boards? I know Dean Tolliver had just done a Mace Windu sculpt, one I'm going to pick up sometime early next year, so he's open to doing Star Wars. I wonder if he'd do a run of Sinker sculpts, has he ever done a Clone before? I'm sure there'd be at least a handful of people who'd pick one up, everyone always likes those Clone sculpts.

Would be nice to have Sinker and Wolffe next to each other with their buckets off.
