Really hope this works out. I grabbed a DX09 body to use with the 2.0 because it wasn’t as bumpy, but I couldn’t resist the urge to try this - even if it winds up being a total failure. :lol

curious to see how you do the undersuit as I am planning on doing the same

I just ordered one of these as a test - pretty cheap thankfully.

I was going to go with a fully leathery suit, but the guy I was going to buy it from urged against it - saying the material wouldn’t last long. From the pictures, this one looks close while also being fairly flexible(?)

Gluing the suit on seems terrifying though. :lol Not sure if I should cut areas of the undersuit off where the armor covers so the glue holds better.

I think it’s way better than the stock version.
Now I’m not completely sold on the alternatives faceplates even if it works well.
It confirms that the stock emblem is too small IMO.

The eyes on the Unreal are also too bright blue for my taste.
Still think DX09 is incredibly good and still does the job for a 10 years and less than 200 $ figure.

Curious if the 1989 2.0 eyes could somehow be swapped into Unreal’s sculpt.
Yeah, the eyes are the weakest component of that custom head. Seeing them in the light, they have that “someone painted this at home” look to them and the blue is overdone to the point that it looks like Wayne’s been snorting spice.

Gah, I was gonna pass on the Unreal sculpt due to price, but it is damn near perfect. I might have to just go for it.

Still prefer DX09 over 2.0 by a mile, but this new cowl might end up being a must-have.

I'd hold out for Joost, but I wasn't too thrilled about how that seated sculpt turned out.
