I’m glad the Blitzway figures have not gone up for PO yet. Give my wallet a break from all the new GB merch.Yeah a bit frustrating they've announced weird Disney figures etc but not these. I wonder if they are still working on extra heads for Egon and Winston? Or possibly licensing?
Good, good.. lemme breathe..I’m glad the Blitzway figures have not gone up for PO yet. Give my wallet a break from all the new GB merch.
Just paid $200 today for the Mondo Real Ghostbusters Peter and the near $500 Haslab Ecto 1 will be charging in early December.
I believe someone said Blitzway also had a long gap between the announcement of the 1.0 GB figures to when they finally were listed for PO.
Do you remember how long exactly?I believe someone said Blitzway also had a long gap between the announcement of the 1.0 GB figures to when they finally were listed for PO.

I’m actually okay with this too tbh as I need to keep saving at the moment and not really buying stuff that I don’t need

Same reason I sold the four. Fear of breaking them when making new poses (body and protonpacks) and them going up in price in the aftermarket . Felt a great relief when I got rid of them.I made the strangest decision as a collector today-- I sold my Blitzway set. It's weird because at one point his was my holy grail.
As soon as the reissue was announced, I felt that not only was the "holy grail" status dissipated, but oddly enough all the flaws with the set began to rear it's ugly head. Things like Winston's paint job, the awful bodies they used and the worst offender, the Proton Packs are about as rigid as twigs. I realized that for years these were just sitting there and I was too afraid to touch them because they WILL break. And with the reissue announcement it just hits me, what kind of game am I playing here? Paying large amounts of cash for a set that in a fire, I'll be yelling a the firemen-- "BE CAREFUL WITH THAT IT'S EXPENSIVE".
I sold my set with a broken Winston arm for $1800 and I felt like a ball and chain lifted off me, like I'm lighter. Will I get the reissue? I don't know, that wasn't much of a factor on why I sold them. Maybe if the figures can actually he held without the fear of them breaking then sure. But this week I feel so light, and will be replacing the spot where the Busters used to be with some Star Wars stuff.
That's the only thing that's been keeping me from selling my set! Hopefully the after market value doesn't plummet once the 2.0 set goes on pre-order?The aftermarket prices on these are insane. Even has me wanting to sell my set . Knowing my luck I’d sell my current set and this 2.0 release gets canceled..
Can't imagine it not going down significantly...That's the only thing that's been keeping me from selling my set! Hopefully the after market value doesn't plummet once the 2.0 set goes on pre-order?
Very good point here. I’m happy with the set as well.I can't take that risk. I love my existing figures, and they are essentially the centerpiece of my 1/6 collection. Very well done figures overall from what is probably my favorite film.
If the new ones come out and the production versions are significantly better than the initial figures, then so be it. I might buy the new ones as well, but am going to hold onto what I've got for now.
