Just saw it after just receiving my S17A
Indeed, it might be best as I also have an S19A (too bulky) and the S47B seems in between both while having smaller forearms.

I have yet to order any of these bodies and still hesitant between 17 or 46/47
Btw should we go with pale s46B or Suntan s47B ?
I see everyone getting the 17 pale one.

The s47B looks cool and a way better option if you want a tall Ripley but rememeber that not only the original body it's under scaled but also the sculpt it's a little bit tiny

Yeah that too.
But from the comparaison the 46/47 dint seem that big of a difference to the 17. Thicker at some parts.
But yeah that could be clearly an issue , now we might get away with a proper pose.
We would be so lucky if any body had a 47 ti test that option lol
I ordered a bunch of parts the other night when they were in stock at Toy Anxiety. It wasn't exactly cheap doing it this way, about $185 after shipping. I kind of forgot about this figure until I saw she was available with that night's new part-outs. As I was adding parts to the cart, I started to think about just buying a boxed figure. In the end, I went with the parts because I'll have them in 2 or 3 days from TA and I won't have to deal with storing packaging or parts I don't necessarily need.
I went with head sculpt, pants, shirt, shoes, bandolier, and pulse rifle. Probably could've used the flamethrower, but that really would've put me in the area of boxed figure prices. I think I have a spare tbleague that will work. Not sure the number, probably bought it during one of TA's sales

I ordered the 47B and generally go with suntan for Ripley. I also ordered the Jiaou 3.0 body and will compare the 17A, 19A, 47B and Jiaou 3.0 bodies with 1979 and 1986 Ripley clothing. I'm determined to have 2 identical bodies that fit both outfits pefectly so they can be display well together.Please do post a pic with the S17A just standing straight, with regular hands +not gloved)

The figure being underscaled isn’t too bad when I have Ripley elevated but looks out of place if there’s another figure next to her.

Agreed, so far I tried 1979 Ripley on the S19A and its incredible. Same shoulder width as HT but slightly too much I think. Sadly the S17A seems too skinny but I think the S47B or Jiaou 3.0 will work better.
