I’ve got to agree that this sculpt just doesn’t adequately capture Evans- mostly due to the mouth, but the eyes might also be off. He’s not youthful enough either.
the hairline is too square and the quiff hairstyle is too long in the front too
Fair enough. I just know you love your InArt stuff more.

TFA Cap and Golden Age Cap are my most wants but I’d take 2.0 AOU figures. Think I’ll pass on A1 figures aside from maybe a non transforming Mk7
Age of Ultron Thor is my personal favorite look for him, so I’d love a 2.0 of that.

Is this to be HT's thing now? 2.0'ing and Artisan'ing everything? No thanks to most of that. Artisan Hulk = $450 and $1000 of queue headache.

For me it's lead to pondering an interesting question: "how often are u going to essentially replace/upgrade, knowing that with modern tech there's likely to be 3.0s with silicon and diecast weapons etc?" Since customs were always out of reach $$$$$ or even paying for a rooting job, never had to think about it. But a wise friend used to say to me "keep it simple". Keeping it simple, I can't afford it to "upgrade" every fig I own. Some figs like Dr. Strange V1 will always be happy with. I'm happy with my Roadworn Thor. Etc.
Think I've gotta face down the FOMO and learn to let go e.g. pick up "artisans" for favs only. Like, when figs were around 220$ it's not that that is CHEAP, but it's not ~500$+ either per figure.
For me, yeah. And something about the nose is bothering me, like it's too broad for Evans. I sure don't look at this sculpt and think OMG this is amazing.
I have the 1.0, and my goodness are they just the worst ankles of any figure ever.

Hopefully the Age of Ultron figures gives us an Artisan Captain America. The Age of Ultron Cap is one of my favorite looks for him. The original figure was my first Hot Toys figure.

I like that suit but found it a bit too...busy? I loved the shade of colours and the white biceps. However, it was so baggy and there were so many random blotches of red spread throughout the costume. I think his Civil War costume was the perfect blend of the real and tactical look of the STEALTH suit and loud superhero-ism.
Was waiting for someone to bring up the Civil War suit. Also my personal fav. The definitive MCU Cap, imo. I’d love a 2.0.

This is my definitive Cap but would be on the list for "do not upgrade and save money". Not because I wouldn't like to, but $$$$$$. I've got almost all the Caps including the Concept.
I actually paid for a marked up Ultron Cap, tho it wasn't too bad and NIB, I do like the way the colors pop on the shelf. But I liked the First Avenger retro look too.
LOL when do you stop $$$$$$.
Tho a really outstanding release would have me weaken.
Hate to break it to everyone but...Civil War suit is pretty close to the Endgame suit. And if HT goes 2.0...high chance that they will go with the small garbanzo bean head they seem to be doing since Endgame.
Why would they reuse the pinhead sculpt? They didn’t for the new Stealth Suit.
