$400 is too much for that, add another $100 and you get a premium format statue that has way more detail.

One of Asmus decent release, I guess I got spoiled by Gimli and Thorin because the last 2 that I purchased isn't really doing it for me. I have high expectations for this one but still feels like they are in the Threezero ( Game of thrones not Rambo) quality with closer to hot toys price range.

got this on their summer sale... meh I guess for 150 its not bad but I wasn't that impressed either.

I don't know about this price..I might just get the non deluxe version I don't feel like the diorama( which will not fit in my display) and the headsculpt is worth $90. Heck I don't think the non deluxe is worth $195.00. If I had the slim version I would probably stick with it and save some money.

Me Myself is not entirely sold but bit the bullet and got one on eBay, he and Aragorn are the only one missing from my fellowship but I can tell you tom once I get him if he is worth picking up or wait and hope that maybe they'll do a better one down the line.

That was really good likeness. Asmus headsculpt has come a long way.

He was my first asmus too. After him it was all down hill for me lol.

yeah once you get pass the hair (which it didn't bother you to begin with) he is an excellent figure. Good potability., nice accessories beautiful base. Maybe one day well get a crack at a 2.0 head sculpt.

thank you for the insight, I might. Iv'e been deep into LOTR for years now especially asmus. I want to add him but is a little hesitant due to the lack of pics/videos but then again I'll just jump on the gun and order it. Thank you.

how is this guy overall? I plan on picking him up but I only see 1 review on youtube so far. Is the hair ok or he combo of sculpted and rooted weird, he also looks like he has a bib and looks pretty light on accessories.

Congratulations! He is not perfect BUT you will have a blast posing him and appreciating the other details on this figure.

Same here, on first viewing I just enjoyed it but never really loved it, but I rewatched it this quarantine and I actually love it now that I hope Asmus does more from this line.
