    Which is the better Joker.

So it was meant for banter about which Joker was better and I wasn't supposed to participate, even though this thread was IMMEDIETELY spawned after I made a post addressing CelticP? And I was supposed to just sit on the sideline? It's obvious what the results of the poll were going to be...

    Which is the better Joker.

I think this thread was made for that purpose, though.

    Which is the better Joker.

Have fun with that $150 "nice outfit" ... haha

    Which is the better Joker.

HT's has better hair, better socks (DC's has none, but HT's isn't accurate), and it has the accurate knife. THAT'S ALL. And it costs $150. haha I don't even know how you fellas can justify that to yourselves, then try to argue for it being a better figure of a character from a movie that it...

    Which is the better Joker.

Which just goes to show why DC's Joker looks EXACTLY like Heath Ledger's Joker. And HT's looks like well ... whatever it's supposed to look like but it definetely isn't the Joker from The Dark Knight. :rotfl

    Which is the better Joker.

You just said the DC Direct has the most accurate likeness. Likeness is the most important factor in a movie related toy. Clothing and paint make no difference if the likeness sucks. And the HT likeness is atrocious. "Hey fellas, check my Joker figure's clothes. I know it doesn't look like...

    Which is the better Joker.

No, no it really doesn't. It looks nothing like TDK Joker. It looks like Jim Carrey's Grinch. The likeness isn't even close to DC Direct's sculpt.
  8. J

    Which is the better Joker.

So you're choosing a figure's clothes and paint for $150 OVER LIKENESS? Uhh ... ok.

    Which is the better Joker.

Well companion pieces is a seperate issue. But we all know who is winning this thread in a Hot Toys dominated forum. It's like going over to Green Bay and asking who do you like better, the Bears or the Packers. I respect Buttmunch, but dude ... clothing, paint make the HT the better piece...

I got bored waiting for my HT Joker

Not a fan of the hair, but the better quality pic makes this figure's face look outstanding.

    Which batman is better ?

I loved Michael Keaton growing up, he was my hero, he was Batman. But Bale just has such range and totally inhabits the character in all the ways he needs to be. So def. Christian Bale as the best for me.

I got bored waiting for my HT Joker

Ok, I can roll with you on the Hot Toys figure having the accurate knife. I 110% agree with you on that, no ands / ifs or buts about it. In terms of Joker cards, I think the DC Direct one gives you more of them, but even then I'll call it a draw since HT supplies them as well. The Hot Toys...

Hot Toys TDK 1/6 Batman: Original vs. New Suit?

    I understand, we'll discuss.

I got bored waiting for my HT Joker

What is that like a way to try to potentially dig at me on a personal level? haha ... If you can't make an actual argument why you're inferior product is better than the cheaper superior product, lets resort to making fun of someone we don't know's finance situation? hahaha Thats too funny...

Hot Toys TDK 1/6 Batman: Original vs. New Suit?

Well people sucked me into this one, no? Go back and re-read. I didn't start talking about the comparison till I was baited. I'm just defending my opinion, from alot of people. I'm defending my stance against a pro - HT can't do any wrong crowd, who need to defend their expensive purchase...

I got bored waiting for my HT Joker

Nope, just obvious which one looks like the Joker and which one doesn't. I'll stick to Hot Toys movie Batman products. They knew what they were doing there. But if I want a lineup of 1:6th scaled toys gracing my shelves that look like the characters from my favorite movie. HT BEGINS Batman...

Hot Toys - The Dark Knight - 1/6th BATMAN (New Costume)

Well TDK cape was shorter than the BEGINS one this time around.

Hey Spliff, did you get my message man?

Hot Toys TDK 1/6 Batman: Original vs. New Suit?

^ Mad customer endlessly defending an inferior product because he's emberassed he spent $150 on a movie related product that doesn't even resemble character from the movie. It's okay man, I'd put up a front too to makeup for the fact I got hosed out of money. :naughty

Hot Toys TDK 1/6 Batman: Original vs. New Suit?

And I was someone who banged the drum for Hot Toys Joker when I saw the proto. Then the finished product? Yuck. Add a simple small chain you can find at Michaels or something, and viola ... looks like Heath Ledger's Joker lept off the screen and into your living room or desk. Just look at...
