    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

Actually yeah, Fantastic 4 is a pretty good comparison to what this movie feels like. I also was reminded a lot of the last season of Stranger Things, with the hyper-vibrant color palate that turned the mid-80s vibe up to 11. I also didn't mind all of the "hallmark cheesy" scenes. In fact the...

    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

Well yeah, she is certainly capable of putting the work in. But for whatever reason she just hasn't. Plus flying like Steve does require a certain knack and feel for the controls that goes beyond just route studying. Kind of like how no matter how many hours I practice sports, I will never be...

    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

Please tell me you are making some woke joke. Why would a woman from a completely isolated island without airplanes, and that has never flown an airplane since she left know how to fly better than one of the US Army's best pilots?

    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

Because it is a crappy film and Marvel is consistently better. But hey, you want to dismiss everything I say because of my avatar and go watch this hot garbage be my guest. Im more than aware of what feminism means, thank you. Steve is a pilot that is instinctively familiar with the physics...

    Christopher Nolan's Tenet (August 12th, 2020)

Where it completely falls apart though is when that object or person's development inherently relies on another object or person that is in the reverse order of whichever track it is currently on. As in the case with the apple at some point needing a tree to come from. Or a person aging in...

    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

How so? Wonder woman has powers, but she has always respected the unique contributions that can be made by people that have different skills than her. Feminist=/= Instantly better than everyone at everything. Unless you are from the Kathleen Kennedy camp.

    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

Lol. While I admit I find Marvel films to be of a more consistent quality, the first Wonder Woman is easily in my top 5 Superhero movies. Which is why it was such a shame for me that this one went such a cartoonishly cheesy route.

    Christopher Nolan's Tenet (August 12th, 2020)

What happens to that food afterwards then? Say that person ate an apple. Would this inverted apple rot away as a normal apple would, or shrink before turning back into a seed? How would it shrink to what it started from if it didn't have the tree it came from to "reverse-grow" on?

    Wonder Woman 1984 - June 5, 2020

Just finished it. All around a giant "meh". Its biggest problem is that the editing leans into the comedy a lot more heavy handedly than the first film, so what should have been the truly sincere tone carried over from the first film comes across as saccharine and cheesy. Pedro Pascal seems to...

1/6 - ThreeZero Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Honestly im going to have to disagree with you on this one. For me, the shield on the Ace Toyz figure is one of the worst parts of the figure. While it does have a very minor taper, it is nowhere near as noticeable as the downward angle on the real thing that leaves it flush with the stuntman's...

1/6 - ThreeZero Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

I'll have to see how these turn out before I decide to replace my Ace Toyz line. Something about the helmet sculpts looks a bit wonky, however they are better proportioned overall than the Ace Toyz, which were slighly too large to be in proper scale with 1/6. However I really wish they fixed...

    Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17th, 2021)

Re: Untitled 3rd Spider-Man film They do make movie for kids. But they cram in dozens of pointless easter eggs in for the adults. They think Finn turning on that claymation chess table in the Falcon for 2 seconds or Jyn Erso's mom drinking Blue Milk counts as substance.

    Halloween (October 19th, 2018)

There were some good elements in H18. I really liked the first 10 minutes or so. I kind of wish they had just cut all the crap with the teenagers and made the 2 british people making a documentary about Michael main characters. Have them team with Laurie and that Sheriff guy and you have a...

    Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17th, 2021)

Re: Untitled 3rd Spider-Man film Am I the only one that isn't excited about all this? It all just sounds like fanservice for the sake of fanservice. In the past few years ever since this stuff became super mainstream; ive had to read enough clickbait articles about how "epic" it is that a...

Big Chief Studios - 1/6 Doctor Who - #12 Peter Capaldi

Haha, to each their own, but personally it reminded me more of my female high school gym teacher/ those anonymous great aunts that showed up at family parties but I had no real clue who they were.

Big Chief Studios - 1/6 Doctor Who - #12 Peter Capaldi

Slightly longer Season 9/Early Season 10 long hair, or full on afro mullet from the end of his run? If its the former im all on board, but if its the latter then I think that looked downright dreadful on him. But that's just me.

Big Chief Studios - 1/6 Doctor Who - #12 Peter Capaldi

I honestly wouldn't even mind just a simple remake of the figure they already gave us. I just loathed the horrendous tailoring of that coat he came with. Ive never been a fan of the Season 10 look personally. I don't like the silly way his shirt cuffs are left overly long and unbuttoned, didn't...

    TOYs ERA - The Fiend

The same reason why the New York Port Authority and Zoning Commission saw nothing wrong in the sequel with Oscorp conducting an open-air fusion reaction experiment on the 2nd story of a wooden loft in downtown Manhattan. Back in those days as long as you had a vaguely techy explanation for...
