Nice! On a side note, can anyone tell me what they are using as a gloss coat on those Jango customs I saw a while back? I might want to try something and am wondering if you all used a spray and if it holds up to flexing plastic without cracking. Thank you.

Definitely has some strengths but looks awkward to me overall. I think I'll try it and the DT model out since it will be fun to build either way. Will be my first model kit.

Heres a quick photoshop I did filling in the gap within the sculpt of the eye lenses to emulate a repaint/touchup. While they're not angular enough, it is a definite improvement and I'm excited about this figure overall.

I think the stormtrooper looks great. Agree with comments hoping the belt can be pulled down, but still. Might need to touch up/fill out the lenses with gloss black, but this is a vast improvement over the last one. Thanks for the pics!

You're probably right that it at least won't be that glossy but I'm holding out hope as their first version had a nice gloss, as well as the scout trooper. If not I'll have to try my hand at airbrushing a varnish layer.
