Who's underwhelmed by it? Hot Toys collectors and people who didn't even order the statue, or have no intention of buying it? Sure it's not perfect, but I'm yet to see a single person who ordered this statue who is underwhelmed by that portrait. It's getting nothing but praise in the statue...

Oh right. Yeah not everyone likes it I think. Personally I think the the best Bruce Wayne sculpt out of the 3 1/3 statues. In fact, I prefer it over Hot Toys' efforts too.

A little too square. I think the answer lies somewhere in the middle. They definitely made his face a little too angular. I think they did the best job on his facial features (although nose is a bit narrow) and paint, but QS got the face shape right.

This was my biggest gripe with the QS when I owned it. It didn't look like a real person's head was under the mask. His mouth was very big, which was odd as it wasn't in proportion with the rest of the headsculpt. Whilst the JND certainly has inaccuracies (none that are major to me anyway)...

Haha, tbh it's tempting the first time but the novelty wears off. They're more durable than people think. I only squeezed my joker slightly when I first got it as I was curious to see what it felt like. That guy overdoes it for sure lol

This came out insanely good. They nailed Batman IMO, and the skin paint on Bruce Wayne is insane. It's amazing how much JND have improved since they first started. Never thought we would see this kind of quality in mass produced statues.

I had the QS piece, and while the matte finish on the carbon fibre is more accurate, QS use a paint to achieve that look which actually comes off while cleaning it, which I experienced in a small section. I prefer how JND did it. Not only does it look better, but no risk of paint damage.

Did you get the Duo set? If so, you'd be in for a treat. The exciting part about Harley is definitely the mixed media, I just don't care for the character personally and I think her face came out a little weird. Pretty excited to receive Batman though. Hopefully we get shipping notices soon.
