    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

Okay, besides the Rex, I spotted two other prehistoric animals in that panel. What did I miss?

    Life size dinosaurs

The first Psittacosaurus I remember was the Playskool toy, all spattered in bright blue and standing upright. The aggressive look is due to those projecting brow bones over the eyes, which probably helped deflect sunlight. Lots of ornithopods have them. Check out Rey's illustrations, where they...

Funny how we were just talking about those Brachs. My sources (read: Jeremy) have acquired some in-progress shots of Shane Foulkes's upcoming Psittacosaurus 1:1 juvenile. Can't wait to see how he looks with his caudal quills.

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

What's missing from page 30? This is like The Shining.

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

That's right, your local joint never got in the final issue of The Journey. Looks like I'll have to administer the test, then.

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

I'm not a dinosaur store, I'm a person. Or at least, I used to be. :google Take all the time you need, Jer. Chris and I will be quizzing you later, and it won't be open book.

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

Strangely, I have the opposite problem, and could use a break right about now. :lol

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

Wasn't there someone who mentioned that one delay doesn't affect the release of other items? I can't remember if it was someone on the forum.

    Apatosaurus Maquette

Hah, I just noticed that raptor poster in the background. I used to have the same one.

    Apatosaurus Maquette

Judging from that nearby trailer and Playskool Ultrasaurus, I'd say those are enormous models! Are they bigger than the Tamiya version?
  11. dansdinosaurs

    Apatosaurus Maquette

They look awesome, Chris. Those are all Horizons?

    Apatosaurus Maquette

Which is why you're better off abstaining from the resin models, like I am. I fear I would like them so much, it would be the end of my wallet. Hey Chris, I thought of you when I saw this logo for the TGM. :lol
  13. dansdinosaurs

    Apatosaurus Maquette

I think it depends on the pieces. I mean, can we honestly expect the Deinosuchus to become as valuable as the Rex? I still think it's a good sign, even if it's a bit early to generalize.
  14. dansdinosaurs

    Apatosaurus Maquette

For comparison purposes, the Rex maquette only came out a year ago, and already is getting twice its MSRP on eBay. If any other Dinosauria statues follow suit, that would be a good sign for collectors.

    Life size dinosaurs

That is pretty nice. Snout looks a bit short, though... like it's a juvenile.
  16. dansdinosaurs

    Apatosaurus Maquette

I seek quality over quantity. But I do wonder if people will compare the Sideshow Apatosaurus to the Battat Diplodocus, since their prices are comparable. In all honesty, the Apatosaurus might be a better investment.
  17. dansdinosaurs

    Life size dinosaurs

That would be this one, right? You seem to have quite a few of these retired kits!
  18. dansdinosaurs

    Apatosaurus Maquette

Who gets your collection if you meet with an unfortunate accident, Jer? :nana: This is my staple sauropod until Sideshow's arrives:
  19. dansdinosaurs

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

But it's going to be a massive piece, that Stegosaurus. One with at least two characters in it. For all we know, it could make the Apatosaurus seem like a mere trinket in price.

    Tupuxuara - Pterodactyl

Got my Tupuxuara store header all ready, too. It will be a nice change from that Spinosaurus, which has been up there forever.
