Bit of a plot hole there...as there were moats and such surrounding the enclosures as well. Animals in general won't shove through all that steel and concrete either...besides most of the animals once they learned the fence was electrified would have shied away from it instinctively from then on...well all except the raptors anyway.. lol

So you have a river or creek your going to try in in ? Our nearby ones would require some effort to make work..they're mostly brown rounded rock with tall grasses and weeds along the bank.

You might be better off constructing something really...I couldn't find much habitat references :

I thought it might be up for sale the end of this month and then we get it by March. If they do a 30 day notice for this one, it may not ship til the end of March and we get it by April....can't..wait..that..long !

Our last official Dinosauria announcement was September I think...so it's been awhile.

I was just informed we won't see anything more on the Stegosaurus til 3rd Quarter. If she isn't going to shown til then..the release date would have to be 4th or later ? Sounds odd..the Apato was announced at the end of September..and it comes out about 7 months later. If the Stego releases 4th Qtr then that's a really quick turn around...it would make more sense for it to show up 1st Qtr 2012.

The only thing else I can figure is that my question was read incorrectly..I asked " when we would see anything more " so maybe 3rd Qtr is the release date ? If so it's going to come right after that wallet eater of a dinosaur..the Apatosaurus.

But it's going to be a massive piece, that Stegosaurus. One with at least two characters in it. For all we know, it could make the Apatosaurus seem like a mere trinket in price.

Still not a wise move I think releasing them back to back if that is happening..and unless we are only getting three pieces this year.

Say it's 350.00 or so I can't see it being more...I'm betting it will be bit larger than the general area taken up by the Velociraptor VS piece...it will have really tall plates and it's rearing..I can almost sketch it out...maybe a base of 18" x a height of 20" ? Pretty large squared..but it doesn't take a HUGE amount of space.

That's when I think according to my version of the question I posed we will " see more " I meant a reveal of the piece and/or pre-order. The person answering my question may have assumed I meant release date.

If it's release date..then too soon I think after the Apato..would rather see it Q4.

If they mean it will just be revealed Q3..then it could be out Q4 or later. :?

Totally missed it's 1st quarter release date...I couldn't have foreseen that. I wonder if this will push back the Apato which is still listed as 2nd QTR ? I don't relish the thought of both coming out at the same time..dropping 390.00 at once y'know ?

Heck I almost hope it DOES...that's alot of dough at once. Maybe not so bad if the Tupu is April and the Apato not til June...but I really would have rather had the Tupuxuara in January.

I'd love to know why this keeps getting pushed back. Maybe Sideshow finally realised they needed to start improving their paint apps. One can only hope that's the case.

That would be a great reason..but it's prob more like they needed an exclusive version and that's taking more time or there was a casting problem.

You're probably right about there being casting problems.

Knowing Sideshow, this won't mean a delay for the other pieces. They often release many pieces all at once, causing many wallets to suffer.
