Hot Toys doesn’t make a lot of two packs. Out of hundreds of releases they’ve only done about a dozen for Star Wars. It’s better they’re kept separate releases anyway. There’d be no real cost savings and something might be made exclusive to the two pack which not everyone would be happy about.

It’s unfortunate but understandable; Andor was a complete unknown quantity. There was no way to know it would be as strong as it is. Product decisions are made years in advance using early production materials. So little is given to these companies now and planning is harder than it ever was...

Exactly; great points. Same arguments I usually make against metal parts. Ultimately appearance is what counts with figures since we spend most of the time just looking at them. And in those terms metal has no advantage, just potential disadvantages.

I get what you’re saying. Sometimes they cut corners purely to save costs but generally I think they do alright cost vs price wise for what we get. Nothing wrong with all plastic though. Plastic remains the best material for figures. Metal adds no real value outside of reinforced joints...

Same price as some excellent recent Hot Toys figures like Jesse and Mando Luke. More expensive than other great figures like Fennec, Koska, AOTC Anakin and Padme, TCW Obi-Wan... The entire Bad Batch except for Wrecker who is only $5 more. It's an absolute joke. Without a punchline.
