Where do you get in touch with him?

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Dammit, @a-dev , this is why we can't have nice things!

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Not weird. My point is that she's more than one thing.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I'm sure you can ... err .. .figure it out LOL. I've had the conversation about this character already -- she's obviously inherently sexualized but remains somewhat nuanced. The tongue sculpt is from a scene that's more grotesque than anything else. As a heteronormative male, do I find the...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Don't know how the material would react; would it get gummy? Retain the fragments of the grit, however fine? If it's got a porous interior would you reveal more pits and divots? Is it too thin for that, will it tear as a result? I wouldn't try it, personally.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I hear ya. I "got out" (selling all but one figure, ceasing active collecting) a while back, but I'm always on the periphery. I have ... three one-sixth figures and one ThreeZero premium figure. I'm never going to dive back in full-bore, and don't have any central, unified display -- in a way...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Jaxon's mouth plate looks very good already. While I'm happy enough with the 2.0 I'd give that one a shot.

I agree; I also don't think the paint (and occasionally the resolution) on diorama bases comes close to the figures, so the vast majority of them look cheap to me relative to the actual figures.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power | Amazon Prime Video - September 2, 2022

Yes, I'll give you this: Tolkien's Orcs occasionally displayed a hint of depth and even morality, yet were irredeemably evil. I just find the execution here clumsy which sums up how I feel about the show so far.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power | Amazon Prime Video - September 2, 2022

Just watched it. So we have dirty, evil monsters spawned from magically twisted and corrupted Elves that ... reproduce and have families, swaddling their baby monsters while slavering and snarling and looking feral, just standing there? What a narrative and stylistic mess. Tolkien's Orc origins...

    *BEWARE SPOILERS* Alien: Romulus

It's gimmick-y and lazy. 'Content' vs. an actual story ... I'm totally sick of it.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power | Amazon Prime Video - September 2, 2022

I keep trying to sit through this and be engaged, but it's not working. LOL ... I *want* to enjoy this show. I haven't got to that part yet but Orcs as sympathetic? That's a bridge too far.

    *BEWARE SPOILERS* Alien: Romulus

Many years ago, I had a girlfriend who'd come over from Europe and didn't know what a snapping turtle was. We were out in the country and pulled over to the side of the road so I could safely move a rather large one out of harm's way, across to the marsh it was headed into. I explained to her...

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power | Amazon Prime Video - September 2, 2022

I got halfway through the first episode of S2 and ... well, I'll give it another shot and stop thinking of it as Tolkien. One thing I realized is that I must have given up on Season 1 because I didn't recall any of the recap. I really don't think it's good; but I still want to see where they...

The Crow reboot with Bill Skarsgard

It's naive. Like a black-clad, leather-wearing, posturing, snarling but scared and hopeful teenager. Not sure it'd get made today where almost everything is dressed up in post-modern hyper self-awareness and winking, ironic sarcasm. Even Eric was really quite innocent for a murderous undead...

According to many in this thread, it looks like Disappointment. :lol

    *BEWARE SPOILERS* Alien: Romulus

By definition, effective cosmic horror needs a massive element of not the unknown, but in fact The Unknowable. I stand by that.

    *BEWARE SPOILERS* Alien: Romulus

At least Ripley was inside a technological life raft and presumably more detectable than what should have been a corpse in the black void of space. I seem to recall thinking it was damaged by the engine exhaust and eventually destroyed in hard vacuum.
