Yeah, hoping BBTS gets it this week too. I’m always nervous for shipping on these things and want the peace of mind from them.

Best part of this statue for me is I’m glad Blitzway didn’t get the memo that 1/4 PF’s in 2024 don’t need to hover around the $1k mark. I wonder how many will cancel their Iron Studios one for this now.

From what I’ve been seeing recently, it’s an uphill battle. I started downsizing a couple years ago and it’s getting harder and harder to sell stuff unless you’re offering fire sale prices. Some are ok but I’d say a majority of DC/MCU/SW Hot Toys just don’t sell like they used to, unfortunately.

This got me curious so I compared the figure to screen caps and your points are fair. But I do think futzing the skirt and maybe removing, what I’m sure will be a fat suit, around the abdomen can help bring it closer to animation aesthetics.

That first Anakin PF is probably my favorite statue of all time. And honestly, all I really want is that same statue but done today with better material and a headsculpt. The pose is already perfect as-is. I don’t really care about having real hair, moving eyeballs, swap out limbs, etc.

So superb scale is just a standard/budget friendlier version with sculpted hair?

Looks good enough for me since he’s just a glorified accessory to my TCW Maul. Although I wouldn’t mind if they muted that yellow some for the final release.

Seen many CW Maul’s selling this year for low $200’s, especially on FB groups. I picked mine up after Mando Kenobi was announced for $160. So plenty of steals to be had on him if you buy soon. I’m sure he’ll come up soon since a lot of us are thinking the same thing right now.

That’s exactly what I was looking for and honestly, it just comes down to this new one being almost 10 years newer. I actually had to go back and look when I had the original and sure enough, 2016. I still remember the day I took this photo back then.
