Man these look awesome, I'll wait for prices and all that, but with a few of the 1/4s Sideshow still has to put up (Luke/Cad), and now these 2, I might have to limit HT purchasing altogether next year.

Looking at these I could sell all my PT Hot Toys figures and just have Ep3 Obi-Wan and Anakin to represent the PT era in my collection. Now if they do a Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie!

1/4 just looks so impressive compared with 1/6, I am starting to get rather a lot of 1/6 figures and feel cutting down to less 1/4 items might be the way to go. I often feel that less is more in terms of the display!

I'm leaning towards the opposite, get more PFs of the OT characters while my HT is mostly PT and Clone Wars. I think having a mix of the two (right lighting, display options and all that) can give you a real clean looking collection.

Making the decision earlier this year to just focus on Lucas Star Wars with a few outliers was the smart move for me.

I’m for sure going for the sculpted version. I’ve been wanting Hot Toys to make this exact version of the character based off his Mustafar appearance and this perfectly encapsulates it!

The Prequels are my favorite thing in all of geekdom, so this will be a signature piece in the collection. My first statue too.

Yup I completely agree with you. This is where I'm at with not only SW, but also 1/6 in general. Shrinking the 1/6 collection to get better, more impressive larger pieces. But, I'm glad Blitzway are doing these two as they've been my most wanted larger scale statues for a very long time.

It's a good first statue to have. Sideshow's Anakin PF was my first large scale statue oh so many years ago.

Anakin Skywalker Standard Version

Blitzway proudly presents the first lineup of Star Wars Action Statues—Anakin Skywalker and his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Standard Version captures the intense emotional weight and rising tension between master and apprentice before their legendary duel on the lava plains in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005). In this version, Anakin's inner turmoil and growing anger are vividly portrayed, from his dark side Force stance to the gripping tension conveyed through his hands—the right clutching his lightsaber, while his left exudes raw intensity, down to his fingertips.

The expression on his face channels a maelstrom of emotions—anger, resentment, and confusion—toward his master Obi-Wan, perfectly encapsulating Anakin's deep internal struggle.

The figure's pose masterfully encapsulates the extreme tension as Anakin gradually transforms into the Sith Order. The intricate details of his Jedi robe and lightsaber are meticulously recreated to reflect the film's authenticity.

Moreover, both the Black Label 002 and Standard Versions of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi feature Blitzway’s ‘ACTION STATUE’ technology, which includes articulated joints for dynamic posing.

For any Star Wars fan, this is a must-have, capturing Anakin Skywalker at the very brink between Jedi and the dark side.

Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi

Blitzway proudly presents the first lineup in its Star Wars Action Statue series, featuring Anakin Skywalker and his Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Inspired by Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), the Standard Version captures the intense emotions and rising tension between Anakin and Obi-Wan before their fateful duel near the film’s climax.

Obi-Wan, faced with the tragedy of watching his apprentice and brother, Anakin, succumb to the dark side, is portrayed with a poignant mix of sorrow and unwavering duty as a Jedi. His pose reflects this heavy emotional burden, from his sloping shoulders to his firm, grounded stance, capturing the weight and solemnity of a Jedi Master.

Both Black Label 002 and the Standard Versions of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi feature Blitzway's 'ACTION STATUE' technology, allowing for dynamic posing with articulated joints.

With detailed Jedi robes and Lightsabers, you can recreate the distinct emotions and iconic stances of these two figures as they stand on the edge of their final confrontation.

Explore the subtle positioning of Obi-Wan’s Lightsaber and bring to life the emotional battle between Master and apprentice.

I am now a statue guy! I wonder how fast I can sell off my entire 1/6 collection!

From what I’ve been seeing recently, it’s an uphill battle. I started downsizing a couple years ago and it’s getting harder and harder to sell stuff unless you’re offering fire sale prices.

Some are ok but I’d say a majority of DC/MCU/SW Hot Toys just don’t sell like they used to, unfortunately.

With these statues I wonder how it is best to order them, direct from Blitzway or through a UK seller if there actually is one.
Has anyone ordered direct from Blitzway before and had any issues?

My only nit is I think the base light for Anakin should have been orange or something to contrast Obi-Wan, kinda like how they are doing with their 1/3 T-800 and T-1000. Thrilled about the $600-ish price point, if Blitzway can keep doing 1/4 pieces at that price it will get dangerous real fast. I still have the standard MJ on order and have been considering the Bruce Lee. Annoying that their Ellen Ripley was a collaboration with Prime 1 because that had a jacked up price of like $1200+ (I own it but can’t remember the exact price).

That's a good idea about the base light being orange or red. But either way, I actually LOVE these bases. Some of the best I've seen.

I wanted to and originally planned to get Ripley, but in the end I just think the sculpt was too far of a miss and I'm waiting for the definitive Ripley. I hope that would be a 1/3 scale and that JND ends up attempting, or someone from Blitzway finally gets it better at 1/3 scale and in her Alien overalls.

So back to these two, I actually think the sculpted Anakin looks better than the rooted hair! I think the hair is off somehow. There's too much of it, it's too light of a color, and I can see this becoming very difficult to get right after being packed in a box for shipping. On top of that, the price difference is insane and not worth it.

As for my feelings on the rooted hair statues, I have concerns about pleather on Anakin's tunic (which would probably be a no-go for me) and Obi-Wan looks a little thick in the upper torso area with all the robes overlapping. Other than that, these look terrific.

To be determined if I have room for them...
