Yes, he bought him after the films.(y)

Just to be a pill about it, Brego is a dark bay e.g. dark red brown with a white blaze on the face. Brown horses are brown e.g. more yellow tan than reddish. But Aragorn didn't have Brego until TTT. Hasufel was a bay with a bay mane and tail. Is it only collectors that are...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

The original Brego was a Dutch Warmblood - see the ebay listing for JXK. Although I'd carefully study examples of the breed and compare to the 1/6. None too sure these manufacturers pay that much attention - hard to say. I picked up a 1/6 that supposedly was a draft horse but sure looks more...

Hair. ASMUS managed little braids on Thorin, but guessing flawlessly applying a smooth straight hairline and having to weave hair along the side of the head e.g. French braid or whatever that is. Thinking about the figs InArt has put out it's the worst hair to go into production at that scale...

Dunno about left hands in particular but folks have said - and mine is the same more or less - it's work to get the hands on, you really have to push, depending. Or warm up before attaching. Sometimes the magnets fall out tho I don't know if they do anything.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

Congrats. Respect you took the time to think about what you were doing, and why. (y) Not like I every got just glassy-eyed and and leaped on a figure, that's why I ended up with 2 Artisan Black Widows on order and haven't even had the conversation with myself about letting one of them go. 😁...

    Questions for Asmus

Thranduil and maybe Gil-Galad. TBH don't pay much attention to ASMUS other offerings like the "Devil"/zombie stuff.

Well, assume a decent 1/6 horse is ~200$. A good set of 1/6 tack another 100$. Probable 150$ in this case, since it's specialty. In Art is charging 30$ for an extra sword, so 3 diecast swords ~ 100$. (Edit - I guess if you can order through InArt the extra sword is free, but who knows about...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

No. Like I know my new HT Obi-Wan WILL have his Jedi robe and Sideshow will have my back if there's a problem.:newangel But in 3 years I'll be interested to see how Legolas turned out. If I'm lucky maybe I'll get a reasonable InArt Thorin in 5. And for those ordering I genuinely hope you all...

Hafta agree to disagree or I'm just fed up with companies leaving it to the consumer to take the risk - or at least until there is a mass backlash. I'll include WETA in that at times, including outright gaslighting folks in cases where clearly a statue has terrible eyes (decals or paint) and...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

Out of curiosity watched this last night. It's a review of the Batman signal so I won't link . (https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHjppGoDHgY) What got me is the original owner saying that InArt told that him he broke it on purpose. Plus, the issues, and not just the paint. If that's true...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

It's not you; they used cheap fabrics - nylon, polyester from the look/feel of it. The end effect being it looks good on the shelf, but it's nothing I'd think of a "premium". A lot of folks tho seem to be thrilled with the "thin material" and tailoring. Personally disappointed in the tunic the...

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power | Amazon Prime Video - September 2, 2022

TBH the boring parts broke immersion for me. Finished this up last night. For me it's a weird show; there's some genuinely enjoyable/impressive aspects, performances; interesting ideas; at the same time it seems to meander about. Here and there I can see them striving for epicness and...

    InArt Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 Figure

I prefer GTG but very happy with my ASMUS GTG with head upgrade. I'd buy Thorin and Dain (think ASMUS should make Dain and Dwalin too) but I'd be happy to be done with this company. Yeah, I'm bitter.:taz😁 But the thing is, I hadn't paid much attention to InArt's return/exchange policy...

Congrats but as one of the folks who tried InArt and got the short end, I'd question that. More like good luck tho hard to know how this could get messed up (and I'm very happy with my ASMUS Nazgul tho for me they are more background shelf characters).

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

Well.... http://newboards.theonering.net/forum/gforum/perl/gforum.cgi?post=120548; So "worth" IMO is gonna depend on details, what materials are used, and how authentic did InArt get. I'm happy with my 3 ASMUS Nazgul; for me they are shelf elements and ASMUS is genius at using less expensive...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

Yeah but don't see the difference between blowing money on a Cybertruck that can't fit a bicycle and melts from bird poo, having a boat that spends more time docked because of the expense (I kayak and there's plenty of boats that seem to sit for years), or a bro of mine who's into expensive...
