Big Chief Studios James Bond Series

Re: Big Chief Studios Acquires James Bond License https://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/james-bond-james-bond-big-chief-studios-902966/ Looks like Sideshow carrying these now. The regular ones anyway.

Big Chief Studios James Bond Series

Re: Big Chief Studios Acquires James Bond License The payment plan is just their version of Sideshow's flexpay. Pick a date and the money is taken automatically by Worldpay. It's against the law for U.K. vendors to hold credit card info so they have to have a third party (Workdpay are part of...

Big Chief Studios James Bond Series

Re: Big Chief Studios Acquires James Bond License If you're buying from within the EU you'll still need to pay tax so it's only no tax for buyers outside the EU AFAIK. Obviously once the UK has left the EU that will change but for now the UK VAT rate would apply to any EU buyers- in this case...

    JAMES BOND - Original creations

Re: Custom JAMES BOND THREAD Oh definitely the tailoring on any Yunsil suit is stunningly beautiful, which will likely not be matched by any mass produced item. This one is no exception but to me it's not Bond's Goldfinger suit, it's just a generic grey suit. With the inaccuracies to the...

    JAMES BOND - Original creations

Re: Custom JAMES BOND THREAD The Yunsil is a great piece of tailoring I'll agree but it is not accurate to the suit Connery wore in the film. It's missing the two side vents on the jacket, and the two breast pockets on the waistcoat, plus it has an extra back pocket on the trousers which...

    JAMES BOND - Original creations

Re: Custom JAMES BOND THREAD I'm going to get it to replace my Yunsil suit- the Big Chief one is a lot more accurate. I just hope it looks as good as the proto when it comes out

Re: Big Chief Studios Acquires James Bond License Looks like the pencil and paper he uses under the map are there too.

Big Chief Studios James Bond Series

Re: Big Chief Studios Acquires James Bond License I think they all look great, but I think I'll just be picking Connery up to replace the one in the inaccurate Yunsil suit I have on display now. I can't say I'm surprised about the price of £210 either, £30 more than the Who figs, especially in...

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

Yea the swirly plastic is really cheap but the biggest disappointment for me are the ratcheting hip joints where he can either stand with legs together or in a really unnaturally looking wide stance but nothing in between. His head also looks tiny when compared to the other carbots around him...

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

There are plenty of 3rd party options for the coneheads that don't have the cartoon accurate kneepads if that's what you're not keen on. They're cheaper than the Takara exclusives too.

Big Chief Studios - 1/6 Doctor Who - #09 Christopher Eccleston

The jacket does look better on a narrow true type, but the TT is just a little too wide since the jacket is tailored for the slim BC body. A HT Narrow TT customised with slim TT arms works perfectly though.

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

If I get any series 3 characters it'll be Galvatron, Scourge and Cyclonus. When I was a kid I started to lose interest in TFs after the movie, I found their toy designs uninspiring and drifted away. I sold MP Magnus and MP Hot Rod as I was never really into their characters and, not so much...

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

I have no regrets about selling Magnus. Diaclone Magnus is all I need from that mold.

Iron Studios - Ayrton Senna 1/6

I'm on the fence about this one now that in hand photos are appearing. I really want a figure of Senna in my collection, though I'd prefer a version from his 1988 championship year, but though this looks great on the whole, that crash helmet looks way too small, and isn't 100% accurate to the...

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

Yea, that's the one thing that really spoils it for me too. It seems to be raised slightly too so it likely wouldn't be an easy fix of just putting a bigger sticker over it. I really like the headsculpt though, and think they've done a really great job overall.

    1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

Got my Inigou V2 sculpt painted by Paul Prentice. I'm really happy with it, Paul did a fantastic job! Next job is to weather it up and stick down the jacket collar.

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

£170 Neil? I think you need to shop around. If that's Kapow you're quoting you can get it £10 cheaper than that just to get their second batch instead of their first. I paid for my pre-order this morning from a Japanese site and it cost £120 (ex shipping), though I know some are scared of...

    ALL THINGS TRANSFORMERS!!!!

I agree about Diaclone Magnus. I like it so much more than the regular that I sold my Ultra Magnus.
