I own the Tomy Real Action Vader too. The kit with the metal body you have to assemble. I think it's like 10" so like a 1/8 scale figure. I've also never opened that one as well. Not even sure what the suit material is. Wonder if that's pleather as well and will deteriorate..

Doesn't even make sense for fabric to change color. It's not like something you constantly wash and it's fading. Even if it was in direct sunlight, colors fade not darken or change color. This is truly an odd one. :dunno Meanwhile, my Hasbro Biker Scout with speederbike set from 20+ years...

Look at the back of the switch box. There's an opening for the hook that slides down onto his belt. The hook was in the plastic clamshell with Vader.

I finally got the hook to slide up. After dropping it several times and almost losing it to the portal of nowhere when things fall on the floor and just disappear... What a pain in the a$$. I really hate these tiny fragile plugs and these power control switch boxes. Some wires go in tight...
