I've been working on another grail project of mine. It's Guy Manuel's helmet from Daft Punk. It's been 4 days and is about 80% complete. The visor came from a toy helmet. Most DP helmet builds go on for months. I'd like to get mine finished (lights and all) by New Year.

Rear panel attached and I've started building the roof.

The rear panels are screwed to the floor pan. The back end panel mostly done. Next step is to attach it to the rear panels.

Most of the hood done, just a bit more filler needed around the intakes.

Started making the hood. The air intakes will be the hardest part.

Finished the front spoiler by adding detail around the air scoops as well as the front lip. Started on the tops of the wings.

Day 3 - making the front spoiler. Having a ready made engine to modify will save me a lot of time. Motorizing the supercharger belt, should be easy enough.

Got mine, but i had to order from Planet Action Figures who were more expensive. Like many others, i deleted my Paypal account, ever since that change to their Terms of service. EXO-6 needs to have an alternative form of payment.

The Spinner build is covered in the Custom Creations section. It isn't fully finished yet, but I'll post more pics when it's complete. There are a few niggles with the door fitment that need adjustment. This was just a teaser.

Got my new head, as well as the improved shoes. I'm going to piece together a stand-in Gaff, using Kane's (Alien) head, a grey suit, black overcoat and the Joker's yellow waistcoat.

Last update - It's been 12 months and I'm very nearly finished. All the fabrication is done, all the wiring is done and all the painting is done. Last jobs to do are the final assembly, fitting the side windows, paint touch-ups and applying the stickers. Hopefully, it will be completed this weekend.

I've yet to see a really good TC sculpt. If he was in the flight suit, the mask and helmet would have covered it up.

I photoshopped it so the hair sits a little lower.

For a quick fix, i put the T-shirt on backwards, to help hide the neck. It's not perfect, but it's an improvement. I also used a smaller body, the Threezero Jon Snow body. The stock body is far too tall for TC.

Some more work done to the rear bulkhead. Adding more detail to the dash top. The square cut-out will be an illuminated panel. The battery banks are stored above the wheels. Access is through the wheel covers.

Here is an excellent video by Adam Savage, demonstrating the speed and versatility of working with Plasticard. 3D printing is all well and good, and i don't mean to denigrate those who use it, but working with styrene sheet is cheap, fun and rewarding, as this video shows.
