    Star Trek: Picard

    So regarding Daystrom Station...

    Star Trek: Picard

Another great one. I just finished watching it so I have to gather my thoughts. But I am really happy that the story is starting to come together.

    HBO: The Last of Us

I agree with you. To add to that, the flashback at the start of the episode bears weight here. The entire show talks about having a sense of purpose in that world. Joel's purpose disappeared when Sarah died, but he regained that purpose with Ellie. Bill and Frank's purpose was to live with...

    HBO: The Last of Us

Yeah Marlene's choice to rob Ellie of her own choice is what lead to this. I haven't played the game either so to me this was well played. I can imagine how it would hit differently in a game though since as a player, you'd have direct control over Joel's actions, and (I assume) in order to...

    Star Trek: Picard

Speaking of Voyager, it reminds me of Equinox too. When the Equinox' warp core was about to breach, he used a device to take him off to some coastline so he can die in a peaceful place.

    Star Trek: Picard

They explained the holodeck having back-up power external to the ship's grid so that in the case where there is no hope, the crew has a last refuge of peacefully die at. It's a bit morbid, and I'm not completely sure I like the idea, but it is something that exists today to an extent (see...

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

Yeah I do think using Mando teaching Grogu basic stuff for exposition works here and is a nice contrast to how he was in S1 and 2. Grogu is now a Foundling under his care and tutelage. It makes sense he'd be teaching Grogu. It reminds me of Jango and young Boba.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Disney + Animated Show

The last episode was excellent. I agree with you that watching this with Mando made Mando look a bit silly in comparison. It's Filoni vs Favreau. :lol

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

The second episode was mostly ok. I just found the pacing of it and the overall structure a bit weird. I think episode 1 and 2 would have worked better as 1 episode with some fat edited out.

    HBO: The Last of Us

I enjoyed this episode. Again, I have not played the game so I cannot compare it to how the story was told in another medium. I thought this was good though. The whole thing though was very predictable and I knew right away that . I did love . I do find the lack of zombies distracting...

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Disney + Animated Show

I was about to post the same thing. They've been referencing a lot of classic movies lately. Heck even Mando

    Star Trek: Picard

    Was Picard right though?

    Star Trek: Picard

My take on this, Picard was wrong and Riker was right. I liked the whole Titan arc here. I am still not digging the Raffi part of the story. However, it's good to see this finally tie in to the Shrike.

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

That whole intro scene got me thinking... was that the son of one of the members of that clan? If he is, is there an exemption to the helmet rule? Like.... do they make babies while wearing helmets? Are they allowed to remove their helmets within their main families? Do they have families or...

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

I'm ok with this. It was an OK start. Not great, not horrible, just OK. I feel like it needed to be longer since it did feel rushed.
