How would people even know if they produced the amount they stated? Not sure why it matters. They can say this has an edition size of 2000, actually produce 4000 and none of us would even know. Who's actually counting except them?
Spider-Man looks good to me. Not as good as their Venom but good considering just how wonky his proportions looked in the show.
He goes from being super buff and wide to a more normal slim build like the figure. It's just not consistent.
It's pretty much will be the concept art that they showed a while back. Although it sucks that they made the Sentinal head smaller than what we originally saw. Looks tiny under Wolverine.
Great photo by @hottoys_artist
Like what? Cape could sit more flush on the shoulder traps, waist/stomach area can be wider on the sides, while the lats can be a bit slimmer but outside of that, it's pretty damn close, at least to that reference.
They have their new sculptor doing a Wolverine 2.0 since the first release was one of their earliest figures. I'm hoping they get him to do the same for Batman on a new proper 2.0.
Might be worth looking into seeing if anyone uploaded the in-game model from the PC version of Ragnarok now that it's out. I'm sure people have extracted the models by now. That way we can get 1/1 sculpts, or at least close to it.
Quite like the proportions there when compared. Looks pretty spot on. I think the waist can use a touch of padding on the sides to have it be a smoother transition to the lat muscles but overall, it looks great.
Came in today from Sideshow. Happy to have a 89 Batman on the shelf. The texture doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would in person, especially when on display.
I have Jaxon's mouth plate and cape on order to help remedy the other shortcomings on the figure but the bloody mouth plate is...
Agreed. Especially after seeing the new Prime 1 statue. I wish we got that sculpt shrunken down. I'll just have to stick with the angry sculpt since that one better hides the weak likeness.
We see it for Hot Toys figures on display with the little note saying pending license approval at conventions. I just imagine they would have had to go through some approval process to even get it that far but maybe not? Hell they even took the time to do an alternate sculpt with the mask...
That's the oddity in it all because how did they even get approval to make it and then display it at SDCC? Which requires license approval to show off. Really bizarre situation.
Yeah they're currently working on it. Last update was in March when they said they were bringing it back to design and development based on feedback.
Probably won't see it until 2025.
Confused on what the difference is between choosing DX27 and DX28 when they're the same figure outside of the clean helmet and chest plate being included.
In the movie, it isn't, at least from what we can see. If you watch when it converts, you'll notice that the canopy getting slimmer doesn't actually shrink the interior. It just narrows the width of the canopy itself while the interior remains being the two seat that the Batmobile is.
You can...
Meanwhile Hot Toys only a few hours earlier:
Never change Hot Toys :lol God forbid if we just got an actual deluxe package with the first release that included his sculpt and the claws. He wasn't even battle damaged when he used the claws so they just slapped some dust on the figure to...
